For anyone wanting to avoid vehicle traffic going up to the South Rim...Williams, AZ has a steam locomotive train that makes daily trips up to the South Rim and there are shuttle buses to take you around. For all of the time that I've been out west. I still haven't made it out to Horseshoe Bend or Sedona yet. Gotta change that soon. Thanks for another great video. Don’t be fooled, Kayaking to Antelope Canyon is an all day affair. The earliest rental you can book is best. This will lessen the wind and will give you time to hike almost the entire length of the canyon. We left at 8:00, returned the kayaks at 5 and still didn’t make it to the end. Although we were early and willing to hike deep into the canyon so we were literally alone. It’s strenuous, bouldering and depending on the time of year you could be in waist deep muddy water but it is so worth it to dedicate an entire day to this trip. I am an AZ native and have done both guided tours and this was by far the best experience I have ever had on a trip! No time restrictions and no people. I do have to stress “leave no trace”. Don’t ruin my state 😬

I think its cool that youve been to every state but most states have more to them then just the places you have visited. Like Arizona! Phoenix? Scottsdale? Sedona? If you ask people about arizona yes the grand canyon will be a big mention but Phoenix is the capital. Maybe doing a circle around to all the major cities in the US might be an idea for you guys
@AdventuresofMattandNat
10 ай бұрын
Absolutely! We are under no delusion that we experienced everything that each state has to offer. Heck... We didn't even experience 1% of what each state has to offer! LOL... But when you have non-remote jobs and you get to travel 3-5 days at a time... You fit in what you can! Plus, there were a LOT of logistics that factored into where we visited in each state since we were typically having to fit in 2-3 sates on every 3-5 day trip. All that to say... We definitely plan to continue exploring the US and seeing more of this amazing country that we get to call home! 😊 Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

I'm glad you liked the Grand Canyon. We thought the first pull out to see the canyon was beautiful and and then after that it was all the same : (. Liked the Utah parks much better, but we feel really UNamerican for NOT liking it all that much. We went in May and we never saw ANY lines like that!! That's CRAZY!! The plane ride was great but I feel so bad to see how far down the water line is now from where it's been in years before. : ( The dune buggy rides (do they even call them that anymore?) looked like so much fun! I would do that in a heartbeat!
@AdventuresofMattandNat

The Grand Canyon is really beautiful, but I can TOTALLY see your point. I think it will always be special to us because it was the first National Park I (Matt) ever visited and it's the first National Park that we visited together. The Utah parks definitely offer a little more variety in their views though! Although, I would love to go to the floor of the Grand Canyon someday for a different perspective! The plane ride was so beautiful, but yes, the lake levels are very sad! 😢 But if you ever get a chance to do the UTV tour (dune buggies), it is SO MUCH FUN! Safe travels!😊 -Matt

Thank you!!🥰🥰 You do not need a National Park Pass for the Grand Canyon. You’ll just have to pay the one day entrance fee when you enter. But if you think that you’ll visit more that 2-3 National Parks in the next year, it’s worth getting the American The Beautiful Park Pass… it’s $80 and gets you into almost every National Park. You can purchase it on the National Park’s website… www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm Hopefully this is helpful!
