I know it's been awhile since you did this, but WOW! You are a badass! I live within a couple hours of this hike, so I've done it several times. In fact, I'll be there in a couple weeks. When you were thinking about giving up towards the end, I was screaming internally, no! because you were so close to the Eye. Anyways, mad respect for you in conquering the Eye! If you're ever in Bentonville, AR you need to check out Bike Rack Brewing. They're producing some quality craft beer! Stay safe!

Be sure to hit up Gravity Werks in Big Flat, AR...I bet the Buffalo is REAL high right now, tons of rain lately...I haven't even been on that trail, but the Ozarks are beautiful! Good brew, 6.3ABV! You did amazing! My buddy has done that trail with his wife, real tough, she ended up tearing ACL on it. Find Piney River Brewing (central MO), their float trip ale is tasty! Cheers n Beers!

First thank you for taking all of on this journey of yours. But I have to say as a parent and a person who also have taken some chances on trails and rock climbing. I hope in the future you wear appropiate foot wear, spraining a ankle or breaking one is not fun. How would you have got to saftely if that would have happened. I watched your traversing that wet rock ledge, worried of a fall or worst. I would send you money to get proper footwear girl. Be safe all you tubers love watching your journeys. Saftey First and foremost.

Good job at not dying on that hike. Sandals??!! Com'on, that is really unsafe. A man died on that hike last year. I have been there 8 times but always wore hiking boots and had hiking poles. Anyway, you did pretty good considering what you were wearing. Last comment is you went after a heavy rain....that is the only way to see the falls. And DON'T hike alone in wilderness!! Now go in peace.

Maddie! Catching up on your videos. Gotta tell you girl, I had to turn this one off. I did not like watching you hike along ridges/cliffs with slippery rock, or do water crossings where the water was above your knees and raging, all while filming. I literally had to stop watching, then pick back up at the end. On a lighter note, the local brewery in my small town has a motto, “beer should take you somewhere”. Always thinking of you when I drink their beer.
