There's just so much about this video that I love, I don't even know where to start! State Capitol buildings are always super impressive and frequently overlooked. This one was particularly cool to see. I loved all the tours of the interior especially the House and Senate. I had to laugh because whenever I'm in a place like that I think the same things...how do they change those lightbulbs??? 🤣 That gentleman in the vault was super nice and it was really cool to let you hold all that money!!! I saw he gave you the challenge coin too! Very nice guy!!! The brass doors were a total favorite of mine. They have them pretty well shined up. On top of it all, it looks like you had your complete run of the place. Always good when touring! Excellent video, I really enjoyed it!!!

I got there pretty early and I do think I was the only one there! The challenge coin was a surprise... definitely didn't expect that. I will say that EVERYONE that worked there was super friendly. I almost didn't go here because I had to wait around for an hour or so for it to open but I really glad I did.

How beautiful inside. I like to visit state capitol buildings too. TBH of the many I've been to I've never went in one and that will need to change. Amazed how beautiful they are inside. Thanks for taking me on the tour inside that was fantastic.

You've got to make inside some of these. I've probably been in a dozen or so and been to the outside of 30-40. They are for the most part pretty impressive (North Dakota is underwhelming).

He was extremely cool! He had a few other good stories that I didn't get on video. You should get yourself to Ohio's capitol. It is pretty cool inside.

Yeah I've probably been in at least half of them and been by a great deal more that weren't open at the time I was there. They all seem to have something cool to offer. I was actually talking about your Albany video with someone today. I had been by that one a couple of times but hadn't seen the inside until you went there.

Hey Tolle, just an hour down the road from Little Rock was a big surprise for me. We stopped at Hot Springs thinking it would be a regular quiet National Park with a hot spring, but it was the hot bed of gangster activity in Al Capone's day. He had a permanent suite there at the Arlington Hotel, there was a club there called the Ohio Club where a statue of Al Capone sits outside, and all of the politicians were paid off. Today the nine bathhouses make up most of the town and the Park Service sells alcohol in one of them. It was kinda a pre-Las Vegas ;>}

Oh yeah! Been to Hot Springs before. Really a hidden gem. Gotta love it was called the Ohio Club too 🤣. I'm not really into jumping into hot water since I've got a bathtub at home but there is a LOT more to that town. A pretty good observation tower there too that gives a good view of the town and the surrounding hills.

We enjoyed the capital tour, Tolle. Always enjoy seeing these and thinking about the history that took place there. The lightbulbs too! 🤣🤣Did find myself wondering though. How many interns were violated by Bill in the 80's? He may not have had Rockefeller's money, but still had more fun. One of the advantages of such a big historic building was there's plenty of places to hide from Hillary!

Sorry for falling behind Tolle. It's been busy with the trip back to Wisconsin and then the move from Peoria. Will get back on track by mid-May.

No worries at all on that. I never expect anyone to have to watch anything I do.
