I was attending another college in Arkansas at this time and about half the student body came from Texas. We had one t.v. in the student center and there were hundreds of Arkansas and Texas fans piled in their yelling and screaming at each other. The joy of calling the hogs after the win with Texas fans saying they wanted to fight outside was priceless.

Love how Jones behind the back flipped the football off their mascot’s nose at 16:00 min. I miss that guy at QB. He was electric. Nothing like watching Texas take an ass whooping in Austin. Goes great with my Saturday morning coffee. Thanks for the vid WM.

That was a bigger beatdown than the score. They could not run on us or stop our run game. If we don’t fumble a couple times we woulda hung half a hundred on em. #WPS

I think they actually had negative yards rushing for the game.

KJ Jefferson says he likes to model his game after Cam Newton but I see a lot of similarities in his and Matt Jones' skill sets. Am I crazy?

His game and build are more similar to Cam's than Matt's. His arm is better than MJ and he's much more physical. MJ was much, much faster though.

It really is so nostalgic seeing this after nearly 20 years.... I mean damn.... Is it bad that I still know at least half that roster by heart too??? And just think that this was right around the corner from the era where the Hogs had easily one of the best backfields in the history of CFB, but there's still no question that this team was incredibly talented too. #WPS

A great day for Razorback football. An epic victory. Always will believe Houston did about as good a job as anybody will ever do in the SEC.

The only thing I enjoyed about watching this game was listening to the “Good Doctor”, Jerry Punch call this game….He is known for his work on NASCAR but he was a great sideline reporter on the Thursday Night games on ESPN in the late ‘90s and early 2000s working with Mike Tirico, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso!!!!!

Same teams, same play, same part of the field. (Different Stadium) 2000, Sterner to Lucas, 3RD quarter, 3rd & 12, backed up on the goal line, complete down the left side of the field. Amazing.
