This has been a very insightful series. I can't wait to see what else you will be covering in it. -Innkeeper Vase Odin

Could it be that there's a minor mistake concerning the advancement of the act deck?: From the Rules Reference, under Clues: "If there are no "Objective - " requirements for advancing the current act, during any investigator's turn the investigators may, as a group, spend the requisite number of clues (usually conveyed as a "per investigator" value) from their investigator cards to advance the act deck. This is normally done as a [free] player ability."

Thank you for this series, learned a few things! Would be so much better if you put links in description to the other parts and maybe in the know playlist in general.

Terrific series. Really looking forward to more tips and tricks videos. Question about the Rex tip you mentioned: am I right in thinking that you don’t draw the chaos token until you have played shortcut? So there is a risk that you could move without gaining either clue token.

This is a silly question but does using a card action such as Roland's colt. Does it take two actions?? 1 action to activate the card then 2nd action to attack?

No. It only takes one action to attack with a weapon.

As a new player who plays with other new players in multiplayer campaigns - THANK YOU! I cannot believe we were not taking advantage of the various player windows and timings the way we could have been. This has been incredibly helpful and eye opening. Now I am looking up your card analysis videos for stronger ideas on how to build winning decks for our group. Awesome work man!

I have a question with regards to enemies moving and attacking during the enemy phase. Does an enemy have to already be engaged prior to attack or can the enemy attack you if it moves to your location then engages you in the same enemy phase?

Awesome work on your videos!!! I need some clarification on a certain step; When I draw a card from the Encounter deck ( Mythos Phase ), if I draw an enemy and engage it , are those actions counted towards my 3 actions from my Investigator Phase? Do I still have any actions in my Investigator Phase if I just fought a ghoul from an Encounter Card in the Mythos Phase? Thank You !!!!!!

Glad to hear that you enjoy the videos! When you draw an enemy during the Mythos phase, it engages you unless its spawn instructions state otherwise. This does not count against your actions. You do not fight the Ghoul during the Mythos phase. When the Investigation phase begins, you have 3 actions (possible more depending on what you do), which you may use to fight or evade the ghoul as you see fit. If you take an action besides Fight, Evade, Parley or Resign, the ghoul will make an attack of opportunity against you. If the ghoul is still around during the Enemy phase, it will attack you. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I’m pretty sure that in the Night of The Zealot, on BGG, there was a stream that expressed that in this particular scenario: while the areas outside of the study are not in play, they are considered active locations and that in the instance of the Icey Ghoul it would actually spawn in the cellar. I think it’s the only scenario that allows this to happen.

This is incorrect. If an enemy has spawn instructions that indicate that it must spawn at a certain location and that location is not on the table, the enemy does not spawn. See page 19 of the Rules Reference: If an enemy has no legal location to spawn at (for example, if its spawn instruction directs it to a specific location that is not in play, or if no location in play satisfies its “spawn” instruction), it does not spawn, and is discarded instead.
