4 years later and players are still ignoring the Who is Real mechanics lmao.

Tbf the mechanics pretty counterintuitive like when two with same sigil fighting they both will take less damage but thing is Free has freaking time bomb that gonna kill everything when exploded. So it's better to deal more damage to him but putting your op on opposite sigil will risk them getting killed from normal attack. Since the normal attack doesn't hit that hard to begin with, it's better to not use the tiles.

It dosen't help that: A) the sigils are rare and their placement is utterly terrible, you need to go out of your way just to place your blockers/dps units on tiles that don't see any action whatsoever and then wait for 900 years for the slow movement speed of the only 2 out of 80 enemies that go down that path. Your ranged operators are the only ones who realistically benefit from that, but there is no point in using them considering how inflexible they are. B) The stats, Dusk's minions are mid at best *for as long as you don't use the mechanics.* Spectre alone (without Gladia) can face tank 2 red monkeys at once, but ware you to place even Cement on a sigil she gets instantly one-tapped after the mandatory colour switching by most of the enemies in this event. And C) last but not least counterintuitive gameplay. Free has two map-wide AOE attacks that switch the colours every 20 seconds. You have ranged enemies that prioritize operators placed on sigils and switch their colours every 3 attacks. Okay not too bad so far, but oh wait, those are the only given means to constituently switch the colours in first place! And the way they ware build around is a loose loose situation: You either inevitably loose that op because of the double dmg, or it sends it's DPS down the drain and ruins your skill cycle. That's the only event that actively punishes you for using it's (entirely optional) mechanics as intended.

I forget their names, but are the catboy machines just there for the snakeboy to hit?

If I'm not mistaken, Stainless's (catboy's) machines attack when they're hit themselves, so yes, Zuo Le hits it so the machine can hit the target (I actually don't know how Stainless works as I don't have him but I've seen people do that with other ops)

Seems like it, Zuo Le hits Stainless’ turrets to help charge his skill faster with the % chance to gain SP on attack, and also his S3 gains Barrier for enemy hit, up to 3. So he’s getting slightly faster skill time and far greater survivability.

Stainless turret also give 20% physical reduction to ops behind it (althought i think ya deal art damage so it doesnt matter in the run?) and also count as enemy so it will trigger mlynar talent
