I love your idea of using the grid colors. I have been making tutorials for retexturing and using workbench. I am going to start using that technique.

hello, following the step by step with uaz was good But with the humvee with retexture placing the logo, the mod went up to the workshop but the vehicle with the modification does not appear in the game. I've already set everything up and everything is configured as explained. I can't understand why it doesn't appear in the game.

when dragging PNG into enfusion folders alone I haven't needed to convert to TGA as they get imported and the edds gets made in engine tools.

I think you have to register the texture file that was added, (not sure how to do that) or you'll get yellow warning in the log file about it not being registered.

Привет, замечательный урок. Но я заметил что копировать можно только файлы в формате .et когда как остальные нельзя. Хотелось бы увидеть как можно переделать униформы, одежду и.т.д так как у них другой формат.

you do realize that you are losing massive amounts of resolution/data, not even talking about actual color and image/texture format information - even if you actually "copypasted" on 100% zoom level. then you go ahead and blow it up by factor 2 once again... and wonder why the "text"... and in fact your whole texture is "slightly" blurry. "big" surprise. no offense, but you clearly haven't got the slightest idea of image editing and resolutions. claiming this to be the "proper" way. you should at least warn users following your tutorial that they basically destroy 50-75% of their texture and resolution. or more

Don't know how it is right now, but at the start it was not possible to export the texture from Arma to edit it. Of course, it's a really bad way to do this, but at the time it was the only way. Thank you though!

I can see that your comment was posted quite recently, 6 months after that video. I assume now it is possible to extract the texture without making screenshots. Also, I hope I didn't offend you by stating that it wasn't possible to do it differently, but hey, masters of their craft should always find a way, am I right? :)

Thanks for the tutorial But I face a problem when I save the image from a *png* to a *tga* A texview 2 saves it in this ( example.tga.pee ) format and when I rename the file to (edds) And dragging the Arma tools does not work, is there a solution? trying to retexture a weapon right now and i need to export the texture so i can make a camo CRM map. so camo does not appear on wooden parts only metal. is this still the case with the screenshot ? im so confused with this new toolkit :(

Hi I did texture and I cant change the .tga,when I put .edds in tools say .edds.tga.And only show me name whitout .tga when I save it from Texview2.can any one help??

i would love to see it too! because retexturing for example uniform is pretty tricky and i spent a few good hours and still i have not figure it out
