I love how Daisy's all about buckin' an' shooting dirt up in the air when Coyote touches her, but Mark gives her a few pets and pokes, and she's just fine with it.

So pretty much anything i can find. Species i plan to feature on the channel will include blue ringed octopus, stone fish, sea turtles, goanas, death-adders, mulga snakes, rock walabys, osprey and lets not forget about the four amazing shark videos i have planned. Any tips in wildlife presentation/filmmaking?

We saw some of the first armadillos coming into florida about 50 or more years ago. My great aunt thought they were cute and interesting until they went under her house and started tearing the insulation off the bottom of her house. That made my great aunt mad. Around the same time we also saw a road runner on the road to her house. A year ago I started seeing dead armadillos on the side of the road here in Charleston south Carolina. Now they have turned up in my yard.

Great video, Coyote! One thing I would have liked to see was the best way to approach or even handle armadillos, or advising not to do so if it isn't safe. I've heard how armadillos are susceptible to transmitting leprosy due to their lower body temperature. I think it would be good to know how to handle one safely, in case someone plans to have one as a pet, or if it's too risky, then people need to know to avoid handling these creatures. All in all, still a very interesting video! Stay wild, Coyote.

Mr. Peterson(coyote), It’s probably nothing but you have some serious JVD going on in your neck. You are quite fit so maybe you do lots of workouts which will affect vein size, However if you haven’t I’d go get a full checkup at your doctors. They will want to assess heart tone, blood pressure and a full set of blood work. I’d hate to see something happen to you so please go for a checkup. Thank you for the time and keep up the great work sir.

I read a piece of South American folklore that explained the origin of the armadillo. I think it was about a woman who rushed to finish a shawl that she was weaving, and as a result, the finished item was full of gaps. Not wanting to be exposed to the cold, she wrapped it around herself anyway. The gods saw her, shivering in the cold, and transformed her into an armadillo, the gaps in the Shell becoming the bands on the armadillo's back. it was so long ago that I read it, I can't really remember the finer details.
