With all the fail-sauce ideas out there, it's nice to see someone doing it right.

That was one of the softest landings I've seen. It looks like you braked with low hands and then returned your hands to their original position. I am jumping with the MC-6 for the first time in a few weeks and I heard when you brake you keep your hands in the braking position. Is this true?

yes. you hold low hands until feet contact the ground and then return hands to the proper landing procedure location, which is covering your face.

I m 42 years old this is the first Army Parachute with controls I ve seen 99% of Army parachutes have 0 controls despite young soldiers being overloaded with heavy equipment which is Reckless and shows how much regard they have for young people limbs & lives😳 😢

This is the MC-6 parachute used by special operations... I've done plenty of the T10-D and T-11's so I understand your pain 😂

Man, that was one of the softest landings I've seen. Most of mine went like this: feet, 5th point of contact, head, feet, 5th point of contact, head, 5th point of contact, and the jumpmasters always said windspeed was only 3 knots 🤣

Its like the JM's were bred to say that winds are ALWAYS below 10 knots!

Still better than the feet-knees-forehead method. I also (vaguely) remember a landing where under a round canopy I blew backward onto the dirt runway and did a feet-butt-head-head-head stunner. Then had to get up and drag my sh*t off the runway because the jump plane was on final for landing... Even the squares were backing up that day.

Softer landing than I can do with a ram-air chute. Hahahahaha (what can I say, I'm still new at skydiving)!

This was a pretty nice landing. haha. we dont have the control like a ram-air has. Always rolling on the ground to land.
