I must say I was presently surprised when I watched your film. It goes to show that you don't need the best gear or high frame rate to produce a good film. I enjoyed the style of its choppiness, mixed in with those bunkers blowing up and that rocket truck. You have a great setting for your films, and I am looking forward to future films. I have subbed.

As your first major effort, this was ambitious and long. I really enjoyed the effort you put into this. The frame rate isn't great but my first video was 3 frames per second so there's no judgement from me there. The Tan Bunker complex you created was very cool and was a great set piece for the battle. The voice acting was average as well, but as a I said this is your first major effort, you can only improve. Very well done first video, you should be happy and I hope to see more from you. The movie DOES start out a little slow, there has to be a build. Give it until the first battle scene before you judge it (first battle scene starts at 5:38). Another thing.... the "orange" soldiers are super soldiers. They are made with a special plastic that allows them to take a lot more hits and keep going as opposed to the average soldier. They aren't officially Tan - officially, they ARE from the Orange Nation. However, the Tan and Orange nation worked together to make these soldiers.

Frame rate is how many pictures you take per second of video footage. This was at like, 2-3. I can't even stand watching this video anymore because it drives me crazy, lol. My newer content is way better and smoother, running at 10-12 frames

What kind of camera did you use for this
@plasticarmymenstudios
9 жыл бұрын
Whew. I used a lot. I'm not really sure the actual names of most of them, but here it goes: The first and main one was a Samsung SL202 10.2MP Digital Camera, or one very close to that one. The second was for a few shots here and there when the battery died for the first one.... and it was a high quality zoom camera that has a long lens that you twist to zoom.... problem with that was I had to look through the eyepiece - I couldn't see the image through the digital screen until after I took the picture. That made the stop motion hard, so I didn't favor that one. My blue camera stopped working after the living room factory got destroyed, so my final camera was my Andriod Kyocera. It was painful, but better than the second option. I now (for my most recent and future stop motions) have a Nikon 20,1 Megapixel camera. I like that one a lot.

I think I purchased it in Europe, but I've seen the figures in stores in the states too... gonna have to hunt in person at minifigure/model shops that are privately owned I think.

Not exactly. I've been collecting for years, many are hand-me-downs from my dad, and various other sets, locations, and stores. I don't think I used Ebay at all.
