Wonderful to have you back! Despite your worries, I don't think you've lost your touch at all - that skin came out magnificently as always!

Glad to have you back, and I hope your vacation was excellent! Enjoyed the video greatly as always. I particularly appreciate this one because it is indeed the case that Army Painter and Citadel are by far the most convenient paints for me to get ahold of, and even for those I have to drive 45 minutes 😂

They're brilliant sculpts. The fact there's so many rifles on the sprues alone makes them a big winner for me!

I never have a problem getting vallejo paints. Hobby lobby has a large section. Atleast in west Virginia and Pennsylvania. I always find them traveling back and fourth to work. I was surprised they have them but they always have what I need

Differences, water bottles, the WA have the wwi bottles, these are the 37’ (I think, either way wwii) I’ve had to GS mine and the WG ones look better 😂, their rifles look better than the WA ones to. I was hoping this was going to be contrast paint tutorial, but hey you can’t have everything. Probably use the previous tute and go zenithal slap chop. Great tutorial as always. Cheers.

Nice, I'm glad you're back. Very fast way to paint uniforms, also if I never liked a lot french ones. Generally I liked more late war germans' ones or, better, US' paratroopers late war ones. As for the italians, french uniforms seemed a strange mix of WWI, with their puttees and new.

Great vid as always! Any plans for some "a war transformed" minis? Some light conversion of WA ww1 kits maybe?

Probably not, if I'm honest. There's just not all that much interest in the genre outside a handful of cases, so I've pretty much done most of what I'm likely to do weird war wise with Gloom Trench.

Crap I hate that "thin it to a milky consistency" -- it was said in the before time as an advice on how to thin enamel paints *for airbrushing* for crying out loud! Somewhere along the way, some youtuber (not you) heard the phrase and now everyone is repeating it ad naseum. It's really interesting if you follow several youtubers how these things spread. I mean techniques should spread if they work, but it seems like people just pick up axioms and catch phrases without even thinking about what they mean. Well, that's internet for you. Anyway, good painting guide, the new frenchies look interesting, and good to see you back!
