GOD bless the men and women who leave their families behind to protect families they don't know. I'm so humbled. So grateful.

It makes me tear up. And so happy because it's her stepfather and she shows the same compassion and if it was her real father. My stepfather is away right now, he's been gone for almost a year now. And I miss him a lot. I hope he comes home soon...

It is great to see the family reunited, but the grester gratitude is for those veterans who served in very different wars , and who still show their honor for our great country! Both current and former military personnel deserve our gratitude and respect! They have all given a great deal for us!

I have a brother named Kalan in the army. When I watch something like this, it reminds me of him. He said he'd come home and see us before he deployed off to Afghanistan, but he hasn't yet. I just hope he's alright and not......gone yet. :'( I just miss him so, so much. :'(
