Small update: Multipurpose indicater indeed indicates when the flashlight will stepdown - which can be seen in the beamshots section. Note that Turbo 3 output of 2330 lm in this flashlight is more for momentary purposes due to the heat. Nevertheless excellent headlamp, as usual from ArmyTek!

Thank you for the first review published on the Wizard C2 Pro. On my Wizard Pro USB XHP50 and it is the samething for the Nichia there are 5 cooling fins and as I see on all the pics I saw on Internet of the Wizard C2 Pro there are 3 fins. The 3M tape you showed us are for the bike mount to fit the handlebar I think. ;-)

I like the benefits of having 200 days of constant light on fire fly = over a year if used few hrs daily, and depending on cold weather is a factor also reading my books Absolutely satisfying and Appreciated!!!

According the user manual pdf. the C2 steps down VERY quickly, making it less useful than the pro V3. Here are the figures: 2500 lm/2 h 40 min (650 lm after 30 sec) - Turbo2 1750 lm/2 h 45 min (650 lm after 2 min) 1400 lm/2 h 50 min (460 lm after 1 min) Turbo1 870 lm/2 h 50 min (650 lm after 9 min) ...and the Nichia C2 steps down to 460 after 1 minute.

You are absolutely right. AT decreased thermal stepdown to 55*C in Nichia and C2 Pro versions (compared to 65*C in v3) which results in quicker stepdown in warmer environment. Personally, I think it is a good move, due to customers complaining about Wizards getting too hot too handle - now the issue is eliminated. Driver efficiency and the ability to sustain the brightness for longer time is achived in the newer Wizards compared to V3. Suming up, if you want to have maximum brightness for longer, than go with v3.

Wait it seems you said the newer ones have longer and more sustained brightness but the sentence after say that the v3 does. Which is the case? Thanks.

min 17:50 did you hold the nichia in the left hand? From the video it looks like the nichia has a bit green and the cree in your right hand none!

Correct, my sample with XHO50.2 has surprisingly good rosy tint. That is also why I let go the Nichia version

@@FlashlightEnthusiast Good to know! I was torn between the Nichia or the warm version with red led. I thought maybe have to sacrifce the red led over the better tint of the nichia but now I know I dont have to!

Why is the button flashing green constantly while in operation? Can you disable that?
@FlashlightEnthusiast

It shows you the battery level/flashlight temperature. As far as I am concerned, it cannot be turned off... You can only change blinking in off state, but it will be still present while on.

What you mention is switching between general and advance UI and does not disable the beacon under the switch with flashlight turned on.

A ja tam wolę c2, wiela różnicy to raczej nie ma ale jednak przy tym świeceniu w turbo spoko jest dalej. A wersja 4 k ile poświęci 10 s? Jaki to ses ma

I have 3 Armytek flashlights and know tens of people who use them extensively and have no problems with them at all. These are the most durable headlamps on the market. Of course faulty samples happen, I am sorry that it happened to you. Take care
