hello! This is the story of Mayapaya's 35th trip to the United States.
Today, you will see the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park in Royal Gorge, Colorado, which held the reputation as the world's tallest bridge from 1929 to 2000, and the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, a tourist attraction in Colorado with a theme park built around the canyon. Take a look around.
The Arkansas River, which originates high and deep in the Rocky Mountains and flows through eastern Colorado, has carved out Royal Canyon, exposing prehistoric rock formations. The history of rocks made up of granite and gneiss dates back 4 billion years. Several species of dinosaurs roamed the area, including the early visitor Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, Camptosaurus, and Brontosaurus. Long after the dinosaurs became extinct, Native American tribes arrived here. Native American tribes, including the Ute, Sioux, Cheyenne, Kiowa, Blackfeet, and Comanche, followed the buffalo herds down to the prairies. Afterwards, as coal mining and bridge construction took place, many people came here. In 1929, the world's tallest bridge across the Royal Gorge was built in just seven months, a position it held until 2000. Now Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is where your Colorado adventures begin. It begins with crossing a bridge overlooking a distant canyon, followed by a variety of adventures and rides. If you take a gondola across the river, you can see the canyon and bridge at a glance.
We take you to the Colorado Gorge Bridge and surrounding theme parks.
