By now I've watched hundreds of OP-1 tutorials, and yours are the most well-explained and easiest to follow. Thanks yet again, please keep them coming!

Hey, just wanted to thank you for all your tutorials and videos. I've had an old OP-1 (mk 1) but never really dug into it all, and your guides have been *super* helpful and clear, even for the older model. And (importantly) they're super inspiring. Thank you!

@@SONWU looking forward to it - know how time consuming it is… and thanks so much, that means extra coming from an excellent musician like you! they were done 100% on OPZ!

I love my op-1 but the manual is one of the most frustrating things I've ever encountered. For the most part it just reproduces what the interface of the instrument already tells you. There are some nuggets of info in there but it deliberately fails to explain so much - the page on the arpeggiator is useless. Thank you so much for this video - it clears up the beige control which was the hardest one to understand. Why do you think Teenage Engineering refuse to explain it? Do they think people are better off playing with it themselves? It makes for some very unhappy early experiences with the op-1, and a feeling of regret buying it (which thankfully dissipates if you stick with it)

Haha, yeah the manual isn’t the best…I think te’s premise for the OP-1 was to keep things a bit “hidden” and to encourage exploring. But it’s true that it can be a bit frustrating for beginners.

Love all of your tutorials man! I just wish the OP-1 was level instead of sideways. You cut off chunks of the unit and I know you’re talking through what you’re pushing, but not being able to see the whole thing is a bummer sometimes.

First off, thank you so much for the comprehensive tutorial. You are my go-to for tutorials. Just 1 question, have the arpeggiators on the Field been changed at all, from the op1? Or are they exactly the same?
@SONWU

Thank you! I think the arp is kept the same, but I can't be sure as I only had the OG for a short time.
