I'm recently getting back into the RC hobby and must say, I really enjoy your videos. I've got an Arrma Outcast 4s on its way and will be here Monday. I'm super pumped 👍😎

I’m almost ready to abandon the XT90s and move to the IC/EC 5s. Not quite there yet though. Good work buddy

I had the same iron. Bought one from Amazon that has adjustable temps was way quicker.

I ruined my battery pack first bash due to those stupid straps in the outcast. Swapped out for velco straps from the local hardware. Thx for the tip on the maverick straps!

Oh a little tip. I run some heat shrink on the bottom of the IC5 the bottom piece that grey and it seems like it helps keep them from breaking as bad. That’s the only thing I have a problem with those breaking sometimes but the heat shrinks seems to help. That’s another reason I have left the battery straps on the new 4s cause it holds them in place better but really hard to use.

Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks on soldering. I really need to do the same. I have a solder station but I think it will more heat than it can deliver but I should give it a go. I like how you use pliers to keep the connector in place while you solder. Nice job Earl. 👍👍

Thanks my friend. I hate when I take a car out only to find that I brought the wrong battery or adaptor. Standardization and organization is a good thing. 👍@@earlmoorhead5555
