Assembled this model in my back yard back in 1998 and has held up quite well in the Seattle area with a plywood floor and pressure treated 4x4s for the floor frame.

Since this is a how long does it last video, I'll add my 2 cents. I built my arrow 10x arrow shed about 35 years ago in a wooded area of my property. I built it on a fairly level spot, but made no attempt to level it and it sits on the ground. I definitely wouldn't do that again. Back to the point, it's stood up to northeast snowstorms, wind, and large branches falling on it. After 35 years I'm finally starting to look for a replacement.

@AJSWoodworks

@@grwescott That sounds like a fine plan to me. As long as the foundation is nice and level, and large enough for the shed base. At that point, you may not need to install the floor kit.
@grwescott

@@AJSWoodworks I finished the installation and I'm very happy with it. It was fun figuring out how to put it up with no assistance, though it took 12 hours that way instead of the 8 it would have taken with another pair of hands. But one corner of the foundation was a smidge lower than the others (how perfect can you get with a bubble-type level anyways?) But it was pretty close, and even with just that minor error, I only needed to align some of the holes for the roof with an awl so the screws and bolts would go through. I admit I was too stubborn about not shimming the floor, but it turned out just fine anyhow. In the 6x8 foot shed, the 1/2" flooring over 12" centered 2x4s worked just fine. It's all PT, so I do not expect any trouble with moisture. Great little shed! If I had it to do over again, I would work a little harder getting the floor level, but it's together and it's watertight. Perfect size for 2 bikes, a lawnmower and all the yard tools, edger, shovels, rakes, etc. I even ran an extension cord to it for an overhead LED light and battery chargers on the wall.

I've had mine for just about 20 years now. Very minimal rust on roof (just a couple spots on the outside only) Just noticed that it leaked recently but nothing major. water trickled in but never had anything get wet. The only thing I never liked are the doors. One of the tabs broke off early on and it was never a huge deal, just annoying. I only recently put in plywood floor over the metal floor frame. We used to have random plywood cutoffs and boards as a floor, never had any issues luckily with moisture. we do live in an exrtemely hot and dry area and winters aren't too bad. So I would recommend it, but after 20 years, don't know if they still make em like mine. We do get high humidity sometimes in the summer, but never had any issues with mold.

The most important thing in building the shed is having a level foundation. Otherwise the screw holes will not lineup well, and you will have a very difficult time building the shed. After the shed is built there’s no need to worry about how level the floor is, as the floor frame is installed at the very end.

The foil tape is held up well, with no leaks. Roof tar would’ve attracted more heat to the building. I did not have to drill holes for my solar powered security light, I just rested The panel on the roof, and hung the light by one of the rafters.
