Thanks Mike! It's very humbling....now I'll have to look into doing that....😏😎👍

Great build video brother. New Sub!! Yes the strobe driver is cool to use on something else. Or I plan on ordering another Arrows LEDs set and put another landing light in opposite wing. Put strobe on top, and tie in the white light and green light together and put in tail facing back. You explain things well. I listened to every word👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻

I am new to your channel. I love your enthusiasm for the hobby. I also appreciate this video because I got my Bigfoot in the mail today. I'm going to add a receiver with AS3X so I don't completely destroy this nice airplane. Ha!

@ Ted...I am also new and just picked one up....can you give us an update on how difficult or easy you found this plane to learn to fly on....does the AX3X help you a great deal......do you have any sim experience....thanks

The clips for the struts are impractical. I put a screw in place of the clips.

Completely agree! Looks like they were all drilled in the wrong place, very sloppy. About the only real gripe I have for the plane. Thanks for checking in my friend and I wish you all the best!

The book calls for the 3 screws in landing gear to be 10mm, not 26mm, but they only get about 3 turns in. Had to add my own 15mm long screws??

It's been a while since I assembled this, but I'm sure I used whatever the book called for. If I said 26mm, I was mistaken. BUT, no matter, the screws that Arrows supplied with the plane worked for me. I'm sure you'll like the plane once it's assembled, it flies really, really good!

Bonjour merci pour cette vidéo mais comme par hasard on ne montre pas la mise en place des ailes ... Pourquoi ?
@JustwingitRC

Bonjour, mon ami! Je n'ai pas montré les attaches de l'aile parce que c'était censé être une courte vidéo ... J'ai quand même un peu long!

@JustwingitRC

Ah, bien sûr, vous pouvez si vous le souhaitez! Mais rappelez-vous, il vous faudrait alors retirer l'aile pour reconnecter les fils de commande si vous vouliez piloter le modèle...😎👍

QUESTION:......what are the major flight characteristics between the Tundra V2 and Bigfoot, as I plan to fly both soon .....thanks
@JustwingitRC
3 жыл бұрын
Hey Gary! Bigfoot flies like a trainer that can also be flown in Bush settings and is very stable. Tundra isn't exactly like a trainer and takes a bit more experience to fly. The Bigfoot never felt like it was ever going to stall, but the Tundra needs a bit more attention at slower speeds. Hope this helps you my friend!

@@JustwingitRC Yes...I am a beginner and was flying the Bigfoot this past weekend in fairly low wind conditions..... I had 12 packs charged and used them all....my only problem seemed that I flipped over on landing in the grass a few times....maybe I was not not slowed down enough or not using enough flaps...any tips on that … also I am currently building the Tundra V2 and was just wondering what I should be prepared for....any helpful tips or rates I should use at first .......thanks.....

@@garyvale8347 Gary, my only thoughts are that you should get to be an expert with the Bigfoot, completely at ease flying it on all sorta of wind, able to land it with flaps, without flaps, and especially being able to land without nosing her over. You have to experiment with that, but many of my videos on the grass field demonstrate what a good approach speed looks like. Once you've mastered the Bigfoot, then it's time to move on to the Tundra 😁👍

Your video would be 100% better if you showed the building instead of doing it off camera

It's hard to do that with a simple hand-held camera like I have now; that said, I'm looking into getting a tripod and a GoPro for assembly videos.
