How galling it must have been for Arsenal to be humiliated by Walsall AGAIN...fifty years after the most famous FA Cup upset in history at Fellows Park in 1933.

I was in the North Bank. Dire dire dire Arsenal performance. Pat Jennings was still the best Arsenal player. I think he played for Spurs in FA cup final in 1967.

Good job Arsenal had Pat Jennings in goal as a true score would have been close to double figures. Of the best 12 players on the pitch Walsall had 11 of them Up The Saddlers.

Arsenal did at least beat walsall in the FA CUP in 1978 4-1 at Highbury sandwiched in between the two giant killings

Walsall weren't the better side. Arsenal allowed them to play and had no posession, so looked a team without a clue. So many signings and a disgrace to the successive ones before!

In other words, they were complacent, thinking they only had to turn up to win a third division club...

Rubbish. I'm a Gooner who was at that match sitting in the West Stand next to two Wallsall supporters on the verge of jizzing themselves. Walsall easily deserved it. Arsenal were so bad even Kenny Sansom had a nightmare. Craig Shakespeare (yes, that one) ran Arsenal's right hand side ragged all evening.
