I am transforming discarded paper scraps from my painting endeavors into a vibrant collage! Join me at my kitchen table instead of the art studio this week.
One evening, inspired by a sudden creative nudge, I decided to give new life to the waste paper remnants that would have otherwise been consigned to the recycling bin.
As I glued each fragment onto the new surface, I reveled in the freedom of expression and the joy of repurposing materials. The act of recycling these paper scraps became not only an artistic endeavor but also a mindful practice of sustainability.
I enjoy restricting the amount of art supplies I allow myself to use because I am not overwhelmed with choices but can let my brain dig further into exploring with curiosity.
🎨 Materials I Used:
Random paper scraps from the recycling, old paint projects etc.
Homemade wheat paste
1 large 300gsm watercolor paper to glue onto
Warm water in a large bowl
At some point in the future I will take this piece of art and alter it again. How can you view the materials in your recycling bin as potential for creating something else?
