I'm 48 now. This takes me back to when I was 4 or 5. I remember crying in front of the tv watching and listening to this - like it was yesterday. That same little boy is still in there and now he has tears again. Bittersweet.

I first saw this film "Watership Down" in the Spring of 1979. This song "Bright Eyes" both touches and breaks my heart. It's beautiful and I love to hear it, but I always cry. The final scene is one of the most beautiful and poignant depictions of death I have ever seen in an animated feature.

2001. Made my young rowdy cousins watch this in Ireland. Three mental loud boys. Happiest moment of my life was to watch them just sit them mesmerised by this film. End of it, the eldest lad (15) started crying. Then he made some excuse to leave the room. Other two lads just sat there. One asked quietly “Is there a sequel?!” Job done.

I remember seeing the film back in 1979 when I was five years old, but this hauntingly beautiful song is what stays with me after all these years. It's hard to believe that Richard Adams, Watership Down's writer, reportedly hated this tune! The movie was recently on TV again here in New Zealand & every time I watch it, I understand it more & appreciate the message Richard was sending to those watching. It will remain one of my all-time favourite films & songs & no-one could've sung it better than the legendary Art Garfunkel. Pure magic! 🎶🐰🐇💞🎤💫

Black mirror brought me over here. I remember this song well. It’s a really nice song. I first saw the movie a month after losing our family cat just shy of its 12th birthday. Darn black widow bite. The movie became a favourite of mine as a kid. Loved the rawness and unsentimental view of th cycle of life, and it’s humour. It still holds up. The book is the real deal. Shoutout by the way to Malcolm Williamson for the amazing prelude music and opening theme. Would’ve loved to have heard what he would’ve done but Angela Morley did a banger of a job when she took over🎖

I still haven’t seen the movie. I’m going to ask my dad to watch it with me as I am visiting him for the holidays tomorrow. He used to play this soundtrack for me as a young child. It was on 8track and it really was such a special time. We’ve always bonded over music and sentimental moments but sometimes we struggle to connect as when I grew older the different opinions we had started to divide us. I’m 34 now and although I was hurt at times, I love my papa and this song reminds me to hug and cherish him no matter what. We never have enough time with our parents and I don’t want to wait until it’s too late. This song reminded me of that love.

this song will forever creep me out because of black mirror. I was listening to this song in the car and another call pulled out in front of me. I needed to slam my breaks on and make the tires screech. I stopped in time but this song just wants something bad to happen while you play it. For the rest of my trip i was looking for mushroom clouds on the horizon :P

Omg I finally found this song by watching Black Mirror S06E05.. I remember hearing it when I was a few years old in the 80s and then I forgot about it when growing up and now when I heard it, it took me back to when I was a small child.. magical song, can't stop listening to it now. 😄
