On this episode Curator of Art AJ Gianopoulos takes everyone back into collections storage to show the Museum's linocut print by Kara Walker titled African American (1998). An almost extinct medium, Walker revived black and white silhouettes in the 1990s to explore issues of race, identity, and power. With exhibitions all over the world, she continues to be a leading voice in contemporary art.
