This week, I work in my sketchbook while I discuss my thoughts on the cliché “Art is a journey, not a destination.” What does this really mean?
For me, waiting to get to the results spoils the fun of getting there. As soon as I start worrying about if my work will sell or if I’m doing it “right,” I lose track of the joy. Because I’m not worried about the end results, I can keep working and enjoy the process even when things aren’t going right.
Think about your own work-Is there a way to do something in your art that is enjoyable and playful, and without passing judgment and worrying about the result?
I am on a mission to help artists find their own unique voice and make exciting, original artwork that is truly unique. If this sounds exciting, join my weekly artist's newsletter at www.louisefletcherart.com/con...
