Wow! I made something that looks exactly like that with 1/4 inch plywood, and I am always needing extra easels for display. You have a wonderful shop! I don't have all those great big tools, but I do have a scroll saw, a couple of Dremels and a hand sander. I do have a nailer thingy but I'm a little afraid of it. I can see how much easier that was than the way I tried to nail mine together with it wobbling all over the place....

Absolutely beautiful!!! I'm going to try to make these for my wedding in March. I don't have all the tools, but I'm sure I can find what I need at my neighbor's house. Thank you so much for sharing. What types of stain do you recommend or a clear coat? Also, do you recommend staining prior to assembling? As you see, I'm VERY new at this. - Jennifer
