I love his take about art value. I fully agree, art has value, value of all kinds. Personal value. Emotional value. Political impact value. Material value. Communicational value. Spiritual value. Mental health value. Financial value. Self-esteem value. Rising out of poverty value. Love value. Don't get tricked by price tags or people trying to make money by trading art like stock. Capitalism does not determine the value of art, neither does any other -ism.

I love his work now that I understand it. My awakening was when I saw the Civil War painting compared to his rendition. Now I'm inspired to say more with my art.

I really like (some of) Mark Bradford's paintings, but they're often so large that even if you can afford one, you'll never find the space to hang it. Some are 12*15 feet. Who has walls like that?

kind of have to be honest it's intriguing in a way how people that don't have any art abilities and have to go to school to learn anything about art they're just selling literally pieces of garbage I'm a self-taught master painter meaning that I spend hundreds of hours doing photo hyper realism oil paintings I live in s*** northern California and I don't know I read a lot of posts about people just being nice and I don't think there's any such thing as realism anymore a lot of people make art they don't know how to so they make garbage
