Just found you...currently devouring watercolor/mixed media/ markings... Such synchronicity and messages from the universe. Just watching and learning. I am also March 25. No accidents. I guess you're my new guide. Thank you in advance. 🙏🏾

Thank you for your video neighbour, my name is Sam and I am a granny to 6 wonderful grandchildren who I love to make art with. I live in Vancouver BC. I can’t believe you have snow today, I can’t wait for snow to come down here. I love finding new channels (new to me!) I’m new to WC and recently purchased 6 of the BEAM paints and I love them. I look forward to seeing more of your channel.❤

Love all of your projects and how you walk us through your thought process it’s so interesting to hear how other artists think. The round watercolors do you like them more than your kuretakes
@allisondawrant

The Beam paints are nice, but they are less pigmented and more transparent than the Kuretake. So- I enjoy them for play and painting with my son, but would likely not use them as often for work that I'm selling or my usual style. Thanks again for your continued support! xx

Good morning, what beautiful art you make. I enjoyed watching your video. I also tried it, but I soon noticed that it is more difficult than it seems, it is wonderful to do (and that is what matters to me) I have a question: "When I have finished painting, is it wise to should I let the paint in my color box dry before I put the lid on or can I close the color box while the paint is still wet?" Maybe a stupid question but I would really like to know. Love from the Netherlands 🖌️🎨🌹
@allisondawrant

that is a great question. I’m not sure of the answer. I live where it’s quite dry and I have closed the lid even when the paint still wet… no issues. Or not that I know of. thanks for watching and your insights.

Loved everything you did and showed here Allison. And I am over the moon with back to back videos! Your miniatures with stitching and framed like that are gorgeous and very inspiring. I would love to learn more about creating small pieces. 💗 And I love the acrylic ink flower that you painted on today. I have been contemplating getting some Beam paints since I first saw them on Indigo's website last year (they no longer sell them). Your video spurred me to get on to Beam's website and make a long desired purchase. And I was surprised and pleased to see Black Friday savings once I added to cart! 🎉 This is a good day! Lol. P.s The struggle with keeping all kinds of odds and ends for collage fodder is so real! Now I have to get to work actually collaging with it!

Thats funny about drinking out of the paint water. I have 4 cats and no matter how much fresh water they have they always want to drink my paint water. I have to be extra careful to always remember to dump it out after a painting session. I’m terrified I’m gonna forget one day.

fodder roughly defined is a collection of things that can be used for another thing. its often used when talking about people- so all of a politicians lies are fodder for their downfall. Its root is related to food- so in that way its a material that feeds something else. :)
