Love a bit of Kramer, real pioneer. Plugins don’t do this guy justice he’s another level.

It's a luxury that Kramer is around and can share all his first hand knowledge on 60s recording techniques.

I use Studio One and I found that if you use their analogue delay plugin and set it to 1/32 triplets, zero feedback and ping pong on the delay you can get a faux doubling effect. I typically use it a touch to thicken the vocal if needed.

TF you talking about, Eddie. Ken Townsend invented ADT at EMI Studios. It didn't come from the BBC Radiophonic workshop.

what if i do not have the plug-in but has the tape plug-in? how to recreat the same ADT?

I get a pretty convincing ADT using a send to a bus with a delayed tape plug in. The Waves J37 with like 40 ms, and some sublte saturation works very well, probably because the Studer J37 was key to creating ADT. Probably with other tape plug ins works too.
