I just used an MM56 today for the first time, I find it very difficult to control. It is so powerful it pushes me backwards. I noticed you seem to have the brushes rotating clockwise whereas mine rotate counterclockwise.

Bought this for machine for my garden but the electric shocks from it seem to be getting worse each time. Any idea what’s causing this and how to prevent it ?

Static electric bud nylon bristles and the fake grass make huge charges of it . I found earthing my self to the main handle helps a little the metal bit not the plastic .and toyed with actually installing and earth like a car you see them dragging them along so maybe that would help

On compress surfaces like tennis courts and tarmac we found a westerman power brush better but always test a spot because if surface old it can tear it up

Thinking of buying one of these how do u find it ? Can’t this be pushed or do u have to walk backwards
@dsagardening

Its the stihl mm55 which has been replaced by the mm56 now all authorised dealers should be able to get them and then the brush attachment . Im walking backwards to brush my footprints as I go leaves a better finnish and find it easier to handle backwards more force and comfort
