This is a piece of Cherry Root that was very hard on one side. Extremely difficult to turn the inside but in the end was well worth it. A very odd shape and took some centering to get the most of of the wood.
The out side was turned with bowl gouges but the inside with all the roots I had to use a carbide hollowing tool to past them.
Listen for "As The Chips Fall" and tell me where you hear it.
Thanks to Dave at Calmwood Creations for sending me this piece of Cherry Root
