Neat bit of kit. A friend here in the States had a similar looking airgun, single shot though. El Gamo Expo, I think. Was a .22 and about a 4 to 500 fps. Enjoy your videos. Really like the higher end guns.

Yes indeedy,a crackerjack I had one in the eighties, sorry I sold it. Ergonomically ahead of its time. I'm over six feet tall,it just fitted. Gamo should remake with the Gen 3 Magazine,a little more FPS and would make a great Rat dispatcher.A.S.I,Anglo Spanish imports.,⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐for content.👍

I was given this air rifle in 1971, a 177 version I think, good gun for playing with, not massively powerful but for a ten-year-old me it was more than enough, the forward grip was very comfortable and leaned you into the firing position very well, the whole gun was great, and if I remember rightly they were very cheap, they must have been if I had one..

I remember when you could order these out of the catalogues that your mum brought home from a friend who was a rep back in the 70s

Ah my teenage air rifle, though I never had the magazine until many many years later. Note the trigger group is made of crappy pot-metal. Mine basically exploded into bits. Luckily I knew someone with engineering skills, and they've managed to repair it for me with a new metal part. Time to take it out to the range again and relive my yoof ;-)

I had one when I was young in the 70's, I thought it was great and shot it a lot until it lost power and it was part exchanged for a Webly Vulcan in a second hand shop. Must have been around 1979 when I got that. That got sold to fund a hw80 when they first came out in 1980.

A friend of me has one of those. I really love the Idea of a magazine fed break barrel air rifle. Nowadays most of them come with drum (revolver like) magazines. The problem with this specific design is, that you have to always ensure that the pellet has the exact length as the carrier hole, otherwise the loading mechanism cuts of pieces of the pellet, or they get stuck.

I still have my .177 repeater and still use it. I am a left hander, so I modified mine by filing down the thumb rest on the pistolgrip. Now its a very comportable, reliable and usable air rifle

Hi great video really enjoyed watching it. Now i wonder could you help me please i have bought one of these since watching your video its similar to yours but more plastic regarding the stock. Unfortunately it came to me without the loading tube i now realise these are very hard to get. I was wondering if you could help me with the measurements of the tube i belong to the AGFssite and theres a gentleman on there called Hal said he would try to make me one. I love the little rifle and have memories of a lad having one when i was a lad 67 yers old now nostalgia thing but would love to be able to get it up and firing again thank you very much for taking time to read this much appreciated kind regards Craig
