Opinions do change rapidly. The thing is negative ideas spread more quickly than positive one. It's sad.

We get used to seeing the distorted version. Twisted. Invisible. That's the version Asians got and there is a huge disconnect . Mainstream America's (Whites) experiences, images and versions of the American experience is not the experience that Asian Americans got. Stop saying all immigrants' experiences were the same. They were not.

There's way less Asians in the arts because our parents don't tell us to go into those vocations. The odds of success are dismal at best.

I like this because talking is necessary but I don't think confining talk of discrimination to one month is beneficial. Not every month needs to be dedicated to some race, don't put a time limit on it just keep talking

Exactly. Which is why I feel that it would help if American curriculum reflected those actually in America and not just those who are white/privileged that there would be less ignorance from the people who learn with this curriculum.

@@ctarking fs, sitting around all day being fed bias info just to regurgitate it later and forget sure seems like a waste, or at least that's what I felt in highschool. People learn too differently from each other to expect the same curriculum to work for everyone.

@@noodleboi6711 My point is that if people are at least exposed to a multi-racial curriculum then they would be so ignorant people from other backgrounds later on. Go up to a white family and ask their child what they know about American history and you'll get a story they were fed from the white person's perspective only while we all know American doesn't mean "white". Non-exposure = ignorance= white-nationalism.

The more you people talk about the different type of people and different races the more you create separation in this country. This Country The United States of America is nobody's land. When you die and they die who cares the land belongs to the Lord God the Creator of Heaven and Earth. You created you own destruction and instead of going and repent from the Creator for your sins you go and ask the very people for peace? Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other god's before me, "saith the Lord"... Maybe you dont understand that but for all intensive purposes you learn from the Lord and lean on the Lord for understanding. You and the rest of the world are creating a problem call RACISM. Easier for man and woman to say RACISM then to search what the problem really is!!!! So do the World a favor and seek understanding from the Creator and not yours..
