Yes, I find getting into other K-pop groups difficult because BTS has set the bar so high. Other K-pop groups are just like Western groups, singing without a concept/meaningful message but the only difference is they can dance. I'm grateful that BTS pre-planned content before enlisting in the military, so we can have something to listen to while they are away.

Boracity is good in what she does but she also makes misstakes. In this case someone pointed out that she seems to not get "Like Crazy" and focused more on the aesthetics while she did not quiet understand the concept only that there was one. (The song is in Jimin's "body of work" of Face aka. his emotions/reaction to the pandemic the part where he is in denial about how much he is hurting and in part hiding his loneliness in alcohol and pretending everything is fine) Personally I think there are more involvment in HYBE groups but also other artists now. Even when you are given songs more or less finished you can give it your own spin and find ways to embody it like Le Sserafim. (G)I-dle and Stray Kids are some example outside HYBE of artist that have much to say in their art. Seventeen did a lot even before they became HYBE artists. The funny thing is that even Exo members have song credits - it's just not emphesised that often and under a third name in the case I looked up. Illit may not have writting credits but they already choose what kind of things they want to represent them aesthetically in the story they are going to tell. That is already more than what I used to see from Exo in their early discography. Boracity actually explained the word "concept" very well and it explains a lot. You nice! Keep going! 💜
