I have two pairs and love them. Super fun and bouncy!! I mostly use them for easy days and long runs but I sometimes will pick up the pace and have done some workouts in them. One of them is close to 350mi and there’s a little bit of wear in the back of the heel of the upper, but the cushioning is still good and that outsole rubber isn’t showing much wear either!

Just went for another long run in them today and I’m loving them. Super comfortable and so easy to lock into a nice rhythm. Glad you’re liking them so much!

As a 100kg man this shoe lasted 2 weeks of less than 10k everyday. For the last two weeks my joints, knees, ankles have been hurting after 5к. The inner side of the arch as well. I prefer more stiff shoes that propel front forward. This shoe.. runner sinks in and it is usually middle of landing rather than roll off, toe off. I like this one. Failed to try the first 2 versions. I run on asphalt. Construction is so good. If I kinda pump that sunk part... it would last one more month. No wear or tear!! Another problem I have is sprained ankles..asymmetry and all.. If one can afford... on 100kg I recommend 2 or 3 pairs per month. At least. Asics has also thos more stiff models, but I wanted to try this line. People troll or perhaps telling truth about anding Novablast. Hopefully not Superblast. I wanna try that one too. Wish you sunny days and many miles, wind in the hair and smile at the end! All the best runners!

Sorry to hear you had a poor experience with this one! If you end up picking up a pair of the Superblasts, I hope you like them! 👍

AND the longevity on the Novablast is just awesome too which makes them even better value for money!! I was so happy to recently bag another pair of the Novablast V1 which is still my fav!! Me too I also dropped Asics, especially after I found Hokas, but the Novablast definitely started the way back to greatness for the company!! I also love the Nimbus Lite, though only on sale 'cause it's kinda expensive!! You might enjoy the On Running Cloudsurfer too as the drop is even more noticeable, and it's also very versatile though also kinda exy! I've noticed that drop measurement and drop "feel" are often two different things!!

I’ve heard only the best things about the Nimbus Lite. No doubt one of those shoes I keep my eye on when sales start popping up! Thanks!

@@HobbyJoggerElite I recommend go up half a size from the Novablast for the Nimbus Lite!

Resonating with pretty much everything you said in this vid. Man no joke, I wear a 10 pretty consistently in brands like saucony and hoka but I had to get a size 9 for this shoe. I have the TR version and closing in on 100 miles. ASICS is just so off with their sizing and stats reporting, I wish they’d fix that.

Yeah, it can be odd when you first put them on, but I’m starting to get used to it. I just picked up a pair of the Superblasts and I’m eager to give them a try.

Love the 3. I don’t really notice much difference between the 2 and the 3, so if you are bargain hunting you may want to consider the 2.

Stack height should be measured from the inside of the shoe, not the outside edge. Often the foam goes above the sole insert to provide more support. Its not part of the stack height.

Been waiting on this since I saw your initial review! You mention the ES3 as another do-it-all shoe but I'm curious...which would you prefer if you had to pick one as a do-it-all, and why?

I’d personally pick the Speed 3. It’s easily one of my favorite running shoes ever. I think it’s a leaner, lighter, and more responsive counterpart to the Novablast 3. I like that I feel equally as comfortable using it for an interval workout as I do for easy runs, which isn’t quite as true for the Novablast.

@@HobbyJoggerElite gotcha; that's helpful. roughly how fast are your easy runs? i feel like runners who have faster easy days might lean more toward the ES3 as a do-it-all (for the exact reasons you stated) but i could be wrong

My easy runs usually fall somewhere in the 8:00-8:20/mi pace range, steady-easy roughly 7:45/mi

@@HobbyJoggerElite thanks boss. you're quite a bit faster than me; i'm more like 8:45-9ish for easy runs (treadmill vs. outside). prob explains why you might prefer the ES3 but good to know the NB3 still works at your paces, too

I've done 500 miles in this shoe and I think it's overrated. Good not great. I never thought of it as a potentially fast shoe ONLY a comfortable cruiser.

Yeah, I’ve found myself reaching for it less as times goes on. I have about 250 miles on them at this point.
