I've been going through this for 8 yrs and counting its absolutely horrific what's being done to my children and I keep trying and will never stop trying to communicate with them.my kids are my everything and I will fight till my last dying breath to stop the parental alianitation that's being done to my children and me.i know it's not my kids it's the alienating other person.i feel saddened and gut wrenched on what's being done to them.

I'm so glad I found these videos this evening! My son is going through this with his 7 yr old Daughter, and her mom and stepdad (which wants to adopt her). The idea of sending lunch to school is great. I was really excited about the idea until I remembered my Granddaughter is homeschooled. She is cut off in every way possible. When we text her mom to say we want to call, she always says she doesn't want to talk to us. But on the rare occasions that we do get her, she seems happy to be with us. I've decided that I'm going to just send her a letter once a week instead of calling. She will at least let me know if she's receiving them, if I ask when I see her.

Great video Ryan. I was just thinking of this exact topic because my daughters birthday is in a week and I have struggled with how to show support without crossing boundaries that seem to be set mostly by my ex. Unfortunately, like you explained…legal consequences may be the result of trying to send lunch or anything like that. Either way… Thank you so much for the videos. I am enjoying your channel thoroughly. It's also nice to know that others out there are trying to work through the same things. It's such a sad situation. Thank you for sharing your story and your insights with the world. It DOES help.

This is what kind of things are happening to us, her Nana.. and her mother. She's calling her mother by her first name and being disrespectful. At 12 years of age she's allowed to curse and be disrespectful while the stepmom and Dad are enjoying her treating us this way. She uses the "F" bomb word like it's nothing. They all do. She use to be such a precious, sweet child when she left here at 7 years old. I went broke trying to get lawyers to help us. We can't do anything more about it and they know it. They are horrible parents teaching her and their other 4 children immoral ways. The stepmom is a 30 year old that acts like she's still a teenager. :(

I have found that if I email the gatekeeper and ask them for suggestions for a gift or offer to send money to the gatekeeper so they can buy something...at least the young person knows you've thought of them and are playing the game that keeps them safe. Usually I get asked by gatekeeper to send money. The main thing is that the young person understands that I know there's a game being played and that I will play it to make sure young person knows they are not forgotten.

Interesting the alienator ignores court order or advice of shrinks and there is or are no real consequences. They ignore the advice and orders. The person alienating can wait it out, drive you into ground, tire you out, and weaponize child in a demeaning cruel way. Nothing not even courts seem able to stop the interference from alienating parent. Order after order - the black hole of process is where court orders go. We are trying to decide what to do about Christmas now the 11 yr old girl decided she wanted nothing by to do with moms side of family. I saw her go from sweet, loving, involved young girl to disrespectful, mean, dismissive brat. Mind boggling!!!

Hey Ryan! I'm 32 with a wonderful two year old son. PA is starting to reveal itself as his mothers next course of action. I'm currently waiting for the courts to hear my opinion on the excessive 45 hours a week of the use of daycare when as a parent I want for him to have more of a family life at home. In the meantime her "defense" seems to be to making false allegations and possibly false charges in an effort to cloak the real issue and maintain control. It's only the beginning and her threats of putting and leaving my life in chaos is coming true. Should I just stop fighting and take what I can as far as time and give up on being an actual parent? Financially I might as well be a slave and as far as being a parent, I don't want my son to have to grow up being a weapon to hurt his dad. I'm just not sure that fighting will do anything but continue to empower his mothers drive to reach her goal of having and maintaining complete control over our sons childhood as well as keeping me financially crippled as punishment for retaliating against her in the beginning

My mother, cousin, and grandfather all died during our last period of Estrangement. I’ve tried to give my daughter things to remember her family by, and I am positive it never got to her. My ex who is acting with extreme malice, even kept a locket my mother gave her before she died, holding pictures of my deceased sister. Was my mother’s greatest legacy. I wanted to bury it with my mother to reunite them. So while my gifts were rejected, my request for an item back was met with a cease and desist letter. Not only am I burying my mother 20 years before expected; 20 years after her only daughter died. I’m enotional and begging only to be stonewalled, and ignored. Beyond that, my pleading for a photo or any chance at a reunion being ignored as well. I’ve never known such confusing pain.

When I found out through the Grapevine my children were having trouble in school and went to find out what happen I was stopped and told I could not step foot on school property as per Court order. My Abuser had five cell phones one for each child. This was to keep control and to have them turn their father in by a text. The Abuser had an APP installed so all messages would go to the Abuser. The children thought this was cool and a game to play in real life. My gifts and cards went and never heard that they received them as my drop off was the nemesis Law office. Most of my belongings were burnt or destroyed and the children were forced to do it by the Abuser. All my children turned out to be like the Abuser and the Courts support this attitude from a financial gain. 15 years later they all are having mental issues and society must pay the bill.

Ernest i have to share my story with someone .. My situation was tooo late ... I was a child of a divorce where this happened .. I was taken away from my dad .. in 1966 and told that my Dad did not love me .. my mother ripped up letters from him and i was not allowed to read them . My poor Dad was a combat veteran trying to recover from Korea and ended up having to have extensive psychatric care .. so he was too sick to fight back ..and I was never told about his illness until i was in my mid teens and by then i was so endocrinated against him that it was beyond repair ... no saying my dad was perfect by any means .. I later became a single mother .. and had a car accident .. and found myself in the exact same circumstances that was my dad was in when my mother left him ... my mother and step father stepped in and took away custody of my son and told my son that their mother was crazy and did not love him .. luckily I was able to recover and fight to get custody back .. it was the most painful experience i had ever went through .. but it opened my eyes to what my mother had done to my father .. my last interaction with my father was .. me asking for his forgiveness .. and he said you were always forgiven and he understood what had happened .. my father had remarried also so i did not go around him in his later years .. the reason was that I realized a fraction of the hell he had been put through and wanted him to move forward with his new wife and new life .. lessons were learned to late in my situation .. I forgave my Dad . My brother is still bitter ... against my dad and he and i disagree .. so I am estranged now from my older brother as I have openly let everyone know that my father is forgiven ... a weird situation .. As for my situation with my son .. it has been a long painful road of going through humiliation in front of him .. as the only able bodied people to help me were my birth mother and my step father and there was no question as of their love for my one son .. I got custody back and kept him with my alienators to because i knew he would not be abused and that they did love him and we needed any support we could get from anywhere we could get it . But one thing that never occurred to me was that when my mother and step father were humiliated me in front of him it caused him great pain ... and my son and I are still working through that issue ..I lost my step father in 1998 .. lost my dad in 2002 .. and just lost my mother Sept 23rd this year .. My son is now entering his mid 30s and it has been hard .. my situation was much more broken than i realized .. and broken was all i knew .. and made some choices based on broken ... it will be a long journey and am praying that the damage that my mother has done will eventually heal .. for his sake So if you think a female cannot understand this pain .. sometimes we females can land in this position and like in my case the alienator was my mother ..of course she is my mother and i will always love them . in 1990 again all communications was cut off from my father .. I learned of his death 2 years after he passed .. My life has been broken and i do know the pain that many men have gone through and totally empathize .. especially vets that are suffering from trauma .. those families do need extra support to get through that period .. it set some dynamic in motion that are still heartbreaking

Great idea, but what if the alienating parent works at the school as a helper in order to control and brainwash our child there too, from all angles. She convinced the school staff to not allow me on the premises or to even communicate with me. Same thing with the child psychologist, pediatrician, mailman, etc.. It's been the year from hell. If only the mother could use all that energy towards something positive for the kids! Instead of lying, sabotaging, and destroying their childhood. This I will never understand, other than the fact that she gets more pleasure from pain and suffering more than the wellbeing of the children.

What do you do when the estranged "child" is an adult? I cannot attend any forum, as I live in the UK. I have been divorced 20 years from my daughters father, so he has had his "six penny worth" then when she married 15 years ago, her husband sided with her Dad, making me the wicked witch. They have two children aged 12 and 9, (my grandchildren), who are also being turned against me, I never saw them over this Christmas, nor many others, not unless I am babysitting, or doing whatever else it is they want me to do, They are getting a bit big now to be babysat. The problem increased last year, when I set a few "boundaries" and said "NO!" (only once). When am I going to get a life? I've no partner, so they think they can take advantage. My daughter will be 40 next year.

My child has blocked me from her social media. She is mad at me because I was on her Facebook page. She is cutting off all contact. What should I do?

Set up an e-mail account in her name, then e-mail that account often. If/when she comes back to you, just give her the login credentials and she should see that you never stopped trying. Don't give up!!

@@LoveAndPeace5D I'm in a bit different situation, I set-up an e-mail in my daughter's name since I only see her once a week & every other weekend. I should have fought for holidays but essentially I send her e-mails whenever I miss her. Also, her mom has taught her that she (my daughter) can decide not to come over when she's 13 yrs old and that's a few years away. I'll definitely fight for her in court when/if that happens but if the judge says it's my daughter choice then my back-up option is e-mailing her account. Just brainstorming with others and this seemed like a good idea. Wanted to pass it along to others.

I googled your area and the words parental alienation and came up with an entire list of law firms. My suggestion was to help you.

@@angelartistic3056 THANKS for your efforts.. But you obviously made assumptions about me & my circumstances based on a simple request for assistance in my area. Bad form iMO.. The fact I'm leaving a request for assistance here should lead to the assumption (if any) that I didn't fall off the Alienation Wagon LAST Nite!.. I have a Master's of Fine Arts.. A Top notch Psychology Education.. & intelligent enough to Know that Parent Alienation is a Criminal Act Implemented by mentally disturbed, (broken) People who Cannot be Helped.. The damage they inflict on innocent minds ends up ruining Adult Lives & Relationships... Only an experienced Professional can asses and determine if there is hope for adult victims and targeted parents.. At this Point I'm considering adding a longer suffix to My Name simply to help eradicate this criminal abuse phenomen... And While here.. I might as well divulge My Crime recently pried from my dearest loves (who despise Me).. I 'MAY HAV|E BEEN 10 MINUTES TARDY TO ONE OF MY DAUGHTER'S 3RD GRADE PLAYS!?!.. (SHOOT ME!) ( IMPLANTED FALSE MEMORIES ARE COMMON, But do they Merit Throwing a LOVING Father Away!?!.. In My 25-Years of Research, I've Learned 'You simply CANNOT Fix BROKEN People!,. You might Help a situation.. But It's a futile effort attempting to really fix Severe mental illness.. Sad.. & True.. It Could be called 'Adult Children suffer effects of mentally ill parent brainwashing'.. Doesn't Matter the Labels Placed There.. Our Psychologists, Therapists & Psychyatrists have seemingly missed an Important Bus h|ere! And 100,000's will suffer because of the shortcomings there!.. It's as Tragic as mortality in a family.. All because of a series of a parents mental disorders..

My 13 year old daughter is alienated from me and her half sister by her mom and grandmother..When i call her phone she does not answer or text back. We are originally from chicago and her mom wanted to move to georgia so i also had a job opportunity and moved to stay close to my daughter which is a huge challenge.. Then her mom decided to move back and i was stuck here and trying to communicate with my daughter via phone without success.. I want to move back to continue to try and maintain something with my daughter but im starting to wonder should i wait until she is older then she will know the truth and hope she will come around . And if she doesn’t want to even talk to me am i wasting time moving again i have fought the alienation and false allegations for 10 years
