Very few people might pick this up but it just occurred to me that he never saw his kids as white. He saw them as black, just like he was. Very touching. And it just goes to show that what matters isn't the colour of our skin, what matters is where we come from, our values and upbringing.
@redraven24

Dami Akinwande I was thinking the same thing about the 'white kids' comment. They may have very light skin, but he knew they were half black. Otherwise, he would've of just said, "Oh yeah, those are my kids" instead of wondering what kids Steve was talking about. Very interesting.

I love Michael and I always will
@redraven24
8 жыл бұрын
devikirby Exactly. The beauty of genetics is that they don't always turn out the way you'd expect. Most of the time, darker features and more prominent regional traits, like very almond eyes from Asia, are dominant...but that doesn't mean always, especially if the dominant genes also have mixing as well. Look at Taryll Jackson's sons. His boys are half of him (black/mixed) and half of his partner, who looks to be of Asian/mixed descent, and they look don't look like they have black genes in them from a surface glance. The absolutely do, but their other genes expressed stronger. One of them even has blonde hair! How you get that, I'm not even sure. So there was lots of potential in the Jackson genetics for almost anything to happen, especially with adding other ethnicities into the other side. People just don't understand genetics when they make dumb statements about mixed kids not being ___ enough to be someone's real kid...sheesh.

ORION QUEST Nope. They are his kids. They're mixed. And all of them have stronger genes from their mother's side when it comes to colour. But Prince looks like Michael's grandfather, has black eyes and Vitiligo like Michael did. Paris has olive skin and her smile and teeth and eye shape are like Michael's. She has Joe's eye colour. Blankets genes come from his egg donor mother who is of coloured people ethnicity from South Africa, so she is mixed black. Everyone says Blanket looks like MJ but he strikingly resembles his mother too. (Technically blanket doesn't have a mother coz he was conceived by a donated egg implanted in a hired womb). Egg was donated by MJ's longtime friend. They're all MJ's kids.

I don't think MJ would've liked this. He's roasting him a bit too hard considering Michael thought a lot of him.

That chick asking the question in the beginning is so blatantly an actress. A very bad one.

Michael had a deep laugh.... he had the baritone voice when he chose to.... remember harvey talking to MJ about his 3000 acres on his radio show.... harvey ! watch your mouth before you go south.

It's weird how his conversation voice and singing/performance voice is so different. Maybe he's doing it on purpose strategically so he can save his voice for his always phenomenal performances.

I dont find it offensive... a real friend will be real to you. I've lost friends because i was honest with them, some people just cant take hearing anything remotely negative. A real friend will tell you to your face, whether you like it or not. And a good friend should be able to take and give the same.

This story was great because on one level it had the slightly scary characteristics of an M. Night Shamalan film. Steve sees White kids that no one else sees.
