I have not played and watched foosball for many decades. But back in my days as a kid in South East Asia, and we would try to score from all positions. Since we considered an attack from the 5 row dangerous, it was common practice to hold the 2 and the 5 to fence of such attacks. When I watch the modern games on youtube, the common practice seems to be passing the ball from the 5 to the 3 row, and the players don't seem to concern about being scored from the 5 row. Is it due to some rules or etiquette that we didn't have back then?
