Actually white line fever is a term for a cocaine addiction and the line "licking every drop off poison off a pocket of keys" sounds like it's referring to when a coke head runs out they'll lick their keys to get the excess coke off from their "bumps" and for those that don't know a bump is where you dip your key into your coke then snort it to re-up your high in between lines

White Line Fever is a condition from driving long distances staring at the repetitive white line down the center of the road and the insomnia that usually follows. It's not just a loose term for cocaine use. You should look it up something instead of posting comments claiming to know everything.
@QTEila
10 жыл бұрын
Maybe you're the one who should get the point that the singer based it on his cocaine addiction? The white line being the cocaine and the fever being his addiction for it. How about you learn something before acting all great smartass. A play on words. Ever heard of that before?

Why would he feel like sinning for looking at the white lines on the road? look at the lyrics "I've got the white line fever and an appetite for sin" it wouldn't make sense. I've got the white line fever (He's burning for his next fix of coke) and an appetite for sin (He'll do anything to get even if he has to fuck some shit up) which is the normal reaction for drug addicts who don't get their next fix, they'll do anything . . . I'm not 100% sure on the meaning "White Line Fever" but in this case, Danny is talking about Cocaine. Put 2 and 2 together before you try to prove your smarts to everyone and end up looking like a complete fucking idiot.

Lol everyone thinks they were completely sober when they recorded this album. When for months while danny was supposed to be doing vocals he disappeared to a hotel and was on a full alcoholism and cocaine binge again like on the whole reckless cycle. That's why there are some inspirational songs and some dark ones. danny wrote the dark ones during the few months he was gone and the happier ones when he was sober. And there definitely not sober they may not do drugs but they all are still alcoholics. But that's how they are and I love it.

No it wasn't. It got a little better, but he was still unable to perform to perfection live. As in the screaming. He couldn't do it that good anymore so he wasn't having fun. It was ruining his voice because he wasn't screaming the right way.

Although i liked AA with their previous albums this is by far the best choice for the future of the band.Danny's voice suits this style so well and the band itself sounds so much better.Looking forward to future albums of this kind.Love it

I disagree, if danny was still here we'd end up with a fucking country album.

Well dont listen then my friend. Its not supposed to be for everybody. Asking with danny was dying, and I wouldnt be surprised if we would of even got another album if danny was still the front man.
