@@jesseleeward2359U.S. social class in a nutshell >.> Working class - it's not cool to say lower class anymore, so working class is anyone struggling to make ends meet on a daily basis. Typically works full-time or more, often to support a family. May collect welfare or food stamps. Lower Middle Class - Calls themself middle-class, works full-time, and probably has more than one kid. May or may not have health insurance, and definitely hates paying so much for it if they do. Upper Middle Class - Calls themself upper middle-class, has an education, works decently paying job, maybe has a kid or two. Has healthcare through their job. Not starving or struggling and probably has a nice vacation every year or so but certainly not rich either. Tired of paying taxes to shore up the rice and pull up the poor. Wealthy - decent high-paying job, most likely a workaholic, has a nice house, car, clothes, etc. Probably a small family. Buys reallly nice brands to show. Stupid wealthy - You don't notice ‘em. They have more money than you ever will and don't care about showing off anymore. They probably work, but mostly just to keep their money flowing and to stay busy. Even if you were born into wealth, you have to know how to use it responsibly and technically in order to keep the same amount wealth/increase wealth. @cheyennetremolada7433

@@alexchivas102 Yeah, I didn’t specify btw. The state gives possibilities to pay university based on ISEE, which is basically your income. If it’s low and you live on your own with an income of 20k or even lower, the yearly university fee can get as low as 3k. I specifically said “highest range” because it’s for people who have the highest income and own property, so they’re required to pay more. Sadly, 20k per year isn’t even the norm here, it’s hard to get anything above 15k, especially if you’re a student. Thankfully though, education is and should be free and, for anyone who has lower income, scholarships are given without problem, they’re not based on previous grades or anything, usually just on income so that everyone can study. It’s probably one of the few good things about Italy at the moment, how much we really value free education.

As a CS and econ grad, the only reason their salaries would be so high is because of Harvard education and name. Otherwise, no econ major makes 100k out of school. Average right now is about 70-85, and for CS around 90-110. For background, I just graduated from a large state school and currently working as a software dev, after shying away from Analytic positions that econ prepares you for(at least at my school). My salary averages are also based off online research, and many of my friends who work at J&J, UBS, and a bunch of other big corporations like FanDuel. I have one pal who just graduated and is working at Amazon as a software engineer at about 200k a year. That’s about the highest salary I’ve heard of

People should know plenty of Harvard students already have family or some sort of good connections related to firms or businesses which is why they basically have better chances of finding high value opportunities especially in investments. Many Harvard students are well connected with people of some form of corporate or political power. So yeah, it would be easy for many of these students to reach 100-200k salaries easy because of the Harvard brand and connections they have.
