An entertaining way of presenting the perspective of different engineers on the most asked questions about chemical engineering! 😀 11:08 truer words have never been spoken!! Pretty much sums up every soon-to-be graduate 😂

Thank you for your support from ages now, it’s always great to see you in the comments! Hahah yes certainly! I’m very glad that Humphrey and the rest of the participants gave their honest opinions, it truly added so much value to the video! Hopefully helps to demystify ChemEng just that much more 🙏

They all spoke brilliantly well - expressing their personality, thought and interest. I will definitely hire the two Chinese guys and the lady with a dog if I was an employer 😀

Do you think that chemical engineering is for people that dont want to work in plants, labs , companies all their life and they wanna be self employed??
@ChemEngWeekly

Are you talking about straight into start ups? Or exiting a ChemEng career after doing a couple of years in industry? Because the answer to both is yes! ChemEng roles naturally progress from plant/ lab based work to office work and once you reach the higher levels of leadership, you will have gained the skills to go and do your own thing either in ChemEng or more generally as you gain business acumen too. Start ups are also very viable although the learning curve is slightly steeper there, but it’s a really option for ChemEng!
