I find it so sacred and endearing that in Japanese, you say "please take care of me" before starting a treatment in a salon (from what I gather from these videos). I always look forward to that part and I wish it was a custom to say things like this in other languages/traditions 🧡

@Jewel Stalcup oh! You need to look it up it's really neat, basically it's a system under your skin that moves mucus around and draining it can get rid of that mucus, you'll have to look it up but you can 'dry brush' and also drain your facial sinuses, it's really helpful.
@SilverSky333
3 жыл бұрын
@Jewel Stalcup The lymphatic system is one of your body's different systems (like the circulatory or respiratory system). The lymphatic system helps to filter the blood and remove toxins from the body, and also helps with our immune defense. At different parts of our body we have clusters of lymphatic tissue called lymph nodes that specifically help to identify and fight infections. Your lymphatic system doesn't usually need help draining, but the muscles of the face aren't quite strong enough to drain the lymph nodes in your face, so massage can help with it.
