You're a very talented artist. I need to know more about nihonga, the materials that you are using, why are they used in such a specific way... so, if you can explain in more detail I would be extremely grateful

The handling of Nihonga paints is special, but all of them have meaning. If you make a mistake in handling it, it will easy to cause paint cracks, so it cannot be said to be stable. However, in Japan, which has four seasons, painting that makes good use of its instability is appropriate. Pigments and paper breathe as the seasons change.
This deserves all the millions of eyes, far across the world, everything about this is astonishing. I wish I could have the skills you have! love you!

I'm so used to watching the paint making videos that utilize a glass mulling tool that when I saw you smooshing pigments together with bare fingers at the start I was genuinely startled. XD I've clearly led a sheltered life of paint making to find that shocking.
this style is very close to what ive been trying to accomplish in my own art. very beautiful. thank you

I'm not sure if you'll see this but a few questions arose The sumi ink, how do you decide (while making it) when it's time to push it into the deeper part of the tray? And also, are the mineral paints expensive/made from well-known minerals? Because they seem so expensive. I will be waiting patiently for the next part to see how the painting turns out🤗

I learned it in college. But that's just how to use the tools, and I thought out a lot of ways to express that I want to😊🎨 Therefore, my method is not always common in Nihonga.

I LOVE your videos!! They really take me to a beautiful place and the way you use the materials is just 😙👌 I would really like to see what you think and what you can create using Beam paints from Canada. They are all handmade traditional Indigenous gouache paints. (the family that makes them put them in waste free travel packages using birch palettes etc.) The colours are delicious and even have beautiful names. I wonder how similar or different they would be from what you have tried before. (But also, as a Canadian fan of yours I would just love to see you make some beautiful art with a little bit of Canada 😅) Do you ever paint outside/en plein air??
