Hey :] I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the disclaimers you've put in the descriptions of your kokology and personality test videos. It might not seem like much to most people but it really makes a huge difference for me and a select few (sometimes it's important to have little reminders that stop our brains from being illogical and going into overdrive with overthinking/anxiety- trauma can be a finicky and frustrating thing) I love your content _so_ much (have for a long time), the creativity is so refreshing and unique, and the passion, time and care you put into your content is evident in everything you put out into the world. It was frustrating for me at first because I wanted to indulge in watching a certain series of content you posted but it triggered a lot of my issues very severely. Just that simple gesture of adding those warnings/statements has made me feel a lot safer with my triggers (and managing them) and while I don't think I'm _quite_ ready yet to expose myself to all of your videos with certain elements in them (I'm aware of my own limitations and need to operate in ways that won't affect my journey towards healing negatively- I know you actively promote mental wellbeing and self awareness), I'm over the moon to say that I've been able to go back and take it slow with some videos that I really wanted to watch but felt more cautious about before! All of them were bloody great! You're a brilliant creator and obviously very mindful of your audience and community which I have infinite respect for. I can't fully express my gratitude but I wanted to try :> Wishing you all the best and sending love to you, you wonderful human

I'm not sure this makes sense. In round 4, the formula essentially subtracts the amounts with high stress from 38 and adds the results with low stress response. But then low scores which would correlate positively with high stress responses tell you that you are calm? It should be exact opposite, based on this formula high scores would mean calmness and low scores mean high stress. I got a 3 and I can tell you that is the farthest from the truth possible lol.

Its not just that, some of the questions are messed up. For example one goes "you are not interested in others" then the next is "you take time for others". If you disagree with the first statement you will likely agree with the second and vice versa. Those two opposite opinions will result in the same score.

Extroversion - 2 - This fits very well, as I strongly dislike and don't trust people very much. I only speak to my family and my 2 close friends, and I, on top of that, don't talk very much with most of them. Agreeableness - 18 - Fits somewhat, I believe it to be lower than this as I don't like sugarcoating anything, I instead say it as it is, and ask very bluntly and concisely when someone tries to sugarcoat something to towards me. Conscientiousness - 29 - This is also quite accurate as I like being honest and just putting my head down and work my ass off, keeping order of just about everything Neuroticism - 30 - I'm not very emotional in general, when it comes to anything, so this fits well. Openness to Experience - 19 - Thought this would be lower as well, as I very much dislike change in anything that worked just fine before it got changed. I'm very prone to adopt an 'autopilot state'. If I do the same things at work for a day or two, I will do that continuously until I catch myself, or something changes

This was so fun!! Only just discovered your channel, but your voice is insanely relaxing 😴 My scores: Extroversion: 22 (too accurate cause I'm really a half introvert/half extrovert) Agreeableness: 36 (checks out, I try to be kind always but also tend to people please...) Conscientiousness: 23 Neuroticism: 19 (really surprised I didn't get a higher score, cause I struggle with ocd & anxiety. Think my number might be lower because I've reached a place of healthy/stable mood with therapy + the right meds and have managed to stay optimistic/hopeful through my struggles, also I'm very patient and don't get angry easily) Openness: 35 This made me feel like a fairly well rounded person, with higher scores in the traits that are most meaningful to me, so thanks for sharing ❤

Extroversion: 9/40 (I definitely agree with this one, but if I get around people I am comfortable with, it goes from a 9 to a 39 lol) Agreeableness: 28/40 (I somewhat agree, maybe a little lower would be more accurate, because while I do feel like I'm easier to get along with and very sympathetic, if I have a bad day, I will drop very quickly to a 0 and just be the most stubborn, idgaf person, though I ALWAYS regret it once I'm calmed down) Conscientiousness: 18/40 (Another somewhat agree; at work, I'm in the higher tier, but at home, I'm in the lower tier; being in the comfort of my own home makes it harder for me to want to do tidying up or house work, because I'm home and I just want to relax) Neuroticism: 10/40 (I must have done something wrong here because I HIGHLY disagree, I definitely belong in the higher tier because the slightest minor inconvenience can send me into a spiral of frustration and anxiety; my greatest flaw is that I have such a low tolerance for stress. At work---I work in a warehouse---if something sets me off, I can get very embarrassingly angry to the point of yelling, throwing things, etc. I am extremely ashamed of this part of me and wish it was easy enough to just snap my fingers and zap it away. I need to go to therapy😅) Openness: 28/40 (I agree with this one, but I also have days where I just want things to stay exactly how they have always been and want no change whatsoever---losing my grandpa recently has made this part of me come out much more, and I find myself reminiscing more than ever for my childhood to come back so I can have more time with him) This was enjoyable, as always. Keep up the great work, Floontz!

I don’t know if someone has explained how the formula works, but I will take a crack at it. This has a tl;dr at the end if it’s hard to follow. From the looks of it, the ideal set of question is one that has equal amount of a quality and opposite (ie 5 extrovert and 5 introvert questions) round 1 can be our base because it’s in this ideal format. The initial number is the number that ensures the result is from 0 to 40. We can play around with numbers for round 1. Because round 1 is ideal, if we have equal number of plus and minus result (say all 5s or all 1s) the difference is 0, which gives us a total of 20 (starting number). The highest score is 40 because 20 + 25 - 5 = 40 and the lowest is 0 because 20 + 5 - 25 = 0 There’s somewhat of a pattern, odd rounds have odd statements add and even ones subtract, whereas even rounds have odd statements and even ones add. Notice all rounds after the first have exceptions and those exceptions are put at the end of the round. With that in mind, let’s examine more of found 2. You may wonder why is the starting number 14 instead of 20? Well we have 1 exception going from negative to positive .so we transform this 20 + 25 - 5 = 40 And allow another + 5 and remove a -1 20 + 30 - 4 = 40 + 5 + 1 But we want to keep max at 40 so subtract 6 14 + 30 - 4 = 40 6 is an interesting number because we will add or subtract 6 per exception. Round 3 also only have 1 exception from subtract to add, so we’ll skip it. Round 4, has 3 exceptions from add to subtract, so we add 6s this time, lest our lowest number be in the negative 20 + 3 * 6 = 20 + 18 = 38 Round 5 has two exceptions, from subtract to add 30 - 2 * 6 = 20 - 12 = 8 Tl;Dr: odd rounds have odd statements add and even rounds have even statements add. Every round starts with the pattern, then ends with the exceptions. The base number starts at 20 and every exception to the pattern adds or subtracts 6. The exceptions in each round is as follows: 0, +1, +1, -3, +2( which corresponds to 0, -6, -6, 18, -12 correction to the 20. Bonus- my results: Extroversion: 10 Agreeableness: 25 Conscientiousness: 15 Neuroticism: 17 Openness: 27

the problem I have with the big five is that it sits with the idea that if you are kind and sympathetic, you must be weak and if you are strong, you must be unkind. There are a lot of people that are polite and considerate and empathetic who will also be very defensive towards bullies. Not all nice people are cowards. Mother bears and mother lion types i’m not taking account of in the big five. It’s not a test for heroes.

Getting above 40 does not necessarily mean you did the math wrong, you might have honestly and openly put number scores the test thinks should be contradictory, but to you are not. So if you are confused and constantly checking the math, the problem might not be you, it might be the wording or test formulation failing to take the nuances or your thought patterns into account. Which i doubt any test devised truly can.

None of the rankings are bad, they suggest the qualities and traits you embody and what you gravitate more toward / away from 💕

Alright, here are my answers! EXTROVERSION - 21 (agree) I consider myself to be an extroverted introvert lol. I'm come off as extroverted but I can really drain my energy if I spend to long with people. So being smack dab in the middle makes sense! AGREEABLENESS - 40 (agree) To be honest my answer to this one scared me just a little. I know that I'm agreeable but the fact this is about how much I adjust my behavior to please others makes me worried. I try to uphold my own but I guess I'm more of a pushover than I thought I was. CONSCIENTIOUSNESS - 13 (somewhat agree) I am definitely a messy person, that much I know but the fact it's the opposite of being dependable, rule following, and being responsible is strange to me. I would consider myself to be someone who does those things as well NEUROTICISM - 19 (agree) Honestly this answer makes me happy. As someone who deals with depression and anxiety you'd think my score would be really low. But it being in the middle shows me that I'm fighting back and finding my confidence. OPENNESS - 25 (agree) I'm a very creative person who likes to also have structure and predictability. I understand that my mental health actually gets worse when I have too much predictability, so this shows me I have room to grow towards being more open and flexible. Thank you for this test! I love watching your videos!

Love to hear it about the neuroticism! Agreeableness-if you can, look into it… I’m sure there are more insights out there about a strong Agreeableness score that can be really useful
