This video was such a cool ramble. It really is kind of crazy how fast things move sometimes. I was 9 in 2000 eagerly waiting to get photos developed with my grandmother, and then not that long after that in grade and high school we were just bringing a digital camera everywhere taking hundreds of photos of everything. I may have shared that moment of time anxiety kicking in at the end there LOL. Thanks for another video and the effort you put into this!

I feel like that’s right around the time that things started feeling like they were changing faster, when film went to digital. I remember being so excited about my first digital camera too! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it! 😊 Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey thanks for sharing, very pleasant and interesting. So dreamy is the world from your lenses. Film stock, in its analog nature, captures the light from that moment it's flashed onto it. So it really is looking into the past/another world in the truest sense(with the physical photo). Photo-(light) -graph(something writtin) It really is modern magic.

Thank you so much, I’m glad you liked the video! Also, it’s so cool to think of it like that! Science is magic! 😊

Thank you for sharing your hobby and photos from your childhood. I agree about film photography as it is more intentional and was always excited to get the film back to see how the pictures turned out. This was such a great journey and some great photos. Have a good weekend!

I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Waiting for the film to develop and getting them back is so much fun for me! What kind of camera(s) do/did you shoot with? Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great weekend as well! ☺️

@@selatonin It was so much fun waiting to get the film/pictures. I had some inexpensive Kodak cameras but I also had a Pentax my father handed down to me. They are beautiful cameras.

I'm adding myself to the list of disappointment from developed film. I can relate to your high school film class. I wanted to take sports journalism my senior year, but my English teacher insisted I take AP English instead. I hope you enjoy your weekend Selena.

Welcome to the club haha! Also that’s a bummer you didn’t get to take sports journalism. Unlike photography, sports journalism seems like it might be a little harder to get into after you finish school. I hope you enjoy your weekend as well! 😊

There's going to be rambling I already like it. Speaking from experience it's only until you develop that film that you see how those pictures came out. Lots of times some pictures didn't turn out great for me.

Oh yeah, I get so excited to see how certain photos turn out, and then once the film is developed I end up being disappointed most of the time haha! But that’s also part of the fun!

@@selatonin The only time I was a little disappointed of how the picture came out was the one I took with my 8th grade crush. It came out blurry and I never saw her again.

I definitely know what you mean with the picture memories. What was your dog's name?

Oh good! It was hard for me to explain but I’m glad you know what I mean. My dog’s name was Missy. She was so sweet, but she was notorious for stealing shoes and tearing them to shreds in the backyard while we weren’t looking hahaha

Oh the year 2000, what fun times. Before it even started people hoarding in anticipation of Y2K, then it gaves us both pregnant and hanging chads. 😂 Crazy that without even thinking about it, some of us have lived in 2 different centuries. Though one thing has remained the same, my love hate relationship with my sports teams. 😂
