Hello, my lovely shadowling. 🖤 I do hope today (or this night) is treating you well so far. 🖤 Even if it's not, don't give up on yourself. Keep fighting for the life you want to live. And sometimes 'fighting' can simply mean knowing that you will keep trying tomorrow, even if today you're exhausted, done, and feeling hopeless. Fighting doesn't mean bashing yourself over the head with "I should be doing this" or "I should be working". We all need rest, down time, to have fun, and time to socialize (with people we truly want to be around). These things keep us healthy. We need to feed our souls with what drives us, motivates, inspires, energizes us. We need our current today to be worth fighting for. And if it's not? That's okay. Work towards it. 🖤 You deserve to live a life you want. Go after what you need, your dreams, health, your wants. Live your life today, here and now. You matter and so does your quality of life. Take baby steps and do what you can. Perhaps what you need to do right now, is take a few deep breaths and just give yourself permission to enjoy this moment, to relax, have fun, or go to bed. 🖤 You have to live inside your own skin. Treat yourself with love.

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for "autonomous sensory meridian response".
Think ocean waves, the sound of someone’s soothing voice lulling you to sleep, a subtle and calming white noise, or birds chirping off in the distance. ASMR is like the satisfaction of having your hairdresser massage your scalp or playing with a Zen garden. The "happy little trees" painter Bob Ross is often considered ASMR.
Some people experience a pleasant tingling sensation in their scalp, neck, and down their spine. (That’s why a lot of ASMR videos talk about “tingles”.) Others don’t. Some people just find it highly relaxing or use it as background noise to help them focus.
Different people like different sounds and/or visuals. You will often hear these referred to as “triggers”. Finding which triggers you enjoy is a totally fun journey and definitely worth it.
