When you were talking about the candles I realized how often I do that. I’m constantly depriving myself from things as if they are in limited supply. Anything I’m looking forward to or enjoy: from food, books, school work, clothes literally everything. Especially with food, sometimes I will quite literally skip a meal because the option is too good for me to have immediately. It’s a way bigger issue then I realized. I think I act this way with food especially because my dad never had tons of money and I understand from a young age not to ask him for food. If he offered it or made it then I would eat. So I always thought food was scarce and would one day run out when I was with him. Good thing I lived primarily with my mom or I would of probably starved myself.
