Inspiring and natural way of PC builds. Thanks Dadimus. Keep rocking with new stuff. I'm an old-used PC enthusiast, still running APU sistem as one of my rigs. These setting wll be my next upgrade. Should be a leap of performance with these. Thanks for the inspirations.

This is perfect for my sister! She only plays games like Stardew Valley and League of Legends. I will be building one of these for her in the future. Quick question, were you able to get the RAM to run at the full 3200? I will also be using your affiliate links to help support your channel when I do make the purchases which will be in December just in time for Christmas.

I was actually able to bump up the ram up to 3266 MHz. just when you get your system go into OC Tweaker select XMP profile and then select the speed that you want. I am using hardware info 64 v6.26.PS thank you so much for your support I hope your sister will enjoy this system

Some time ago I was fascinated by the idea of having a mini small form factor AMD based Mini PC. I have never build a computer before. This PC is not for gaming, just home PC for web browsing, Office programs and basic Photoshop and basic video editing. When the Asrcock Desk Mini A300 I decided to make a move. I collected the following parts for it: AMD Razen 5 2400G CPU,Samsung Evo 860 SSD 1TB Sata, Noctua NH L9a CPU cooler and HyperX Impact DDR4 SO DIMM. The only item left to buy, is the Asrock Mini PC. And now came the Asrock Desk Mini X300. My question is should I get the older A300 or go for the newer X300? Will I be able, later on in some years change the AMD 2400G in the X300 with a newer CPU?

X300 all the way. It’s able to handle the 2200g all the way to the 4750g and possibly newer. It’s able to over clock. Plus I think it looks better. Also after reading this I double checked availability and the x300 is more available than the a300. I hope this helps. Ps. I plan on making a video on the x300 in the up coming future.

to be fair a itx build isn't that much cheaper. Usually we want rgb and bigger coolers which ultimately add up to more. Also do you know how much wattage you consume on idle? Also how come it won't recognize that m.2?
@dadimusprimehobbies8808
4 жыл бұрын
I will have to test the system at idle and get back to you. The reason the M.2 was not recognized is because the m.2 I bought was SATA and not nvme

The fan noise you hear in the video is the 10 3000 RPM noctua industrial fans I have in my desk computer the fan on the CPU cooler for the a309 is actually very quiet I have it locked at full speed and I can barely hear it.

@dadimusprimehobbies8808

Yeah when I ordered the drive I didn’t realize that it was say to not nvme so instead of sending it back and ordering a new one I just ordered a cheap adapter to go from m.2 to Sata. Besides you’re not going to notice the difference while playing video games only if you’re transferring large amounts of files

The 4000 series APU like the R5 Pro 4650G and R7 4700 have Superior Vega graphics but the CU /shader count is cut back, resulting in very similar performance to 3000 series Vega. CPU has more resources and much stronger IPC.
