This pattern has been updated as of March 2023. They included quilt batting for filling the cushions and the sc join as well, no gusset. I think the updated version is much easier to follow. I'm just about to start assembling the foam pieces today. I may post an update on that when I'm done. I just came here to get a more precise understanding with visualization cause that's how my brain works, I don't do so great with just diagrams. I'm scared to cut the foam, I really hope I don't mess it up. I really appreciate all the videos I've seen so far, yarnspirations has one on here now. But no one is showing the foam assembly! Lol.

Yes. You did a great job and sooo cute. I had a tuxedo once, my fav cat. Johnny loves it and I loved your video! I've had the pattern forever! because I'm afraid of cutting the foam. And foam is expensive. If they sold a complete KIT with PRECUT FOAM, I'd be first to buy it. Whatever it cost! I'm waiting till that happens!!!

Thank you! I've been trying to find someone who actually recognizes that the cushions didn't have instructions besides making them. I just started mine the other day and only was doing the cushions until more yarn and the foam came in but I felt lost with the pattern so quickly.

I am so happy that the video helped you out!! I really struggled with this pattern especially after I had all of the pieces made because there were missing instructions. I felt lost too so I know exactly what you're talking about! The couch is pretty cute once its done so I guess it was worth the headache!! 😅

I've seen this pattern here & there but never made it because I didn't see anything on assembly. This video just popped up randomly, so I just subscribed. Can't wait to check out your channel.

I made this couch, but a little smaller and I didn't make the bottom because it USED SO MUCH YARN! I used 2 small skeins and one big skein and I still didn't have enough for the cushions or the bottom. I just pulled the edging so it would go under. I would've hit glued it but it stayed alright

Yay! You finished it! Congrats!! Also I spy some Premier Nordica yarn on your shelf, not sure if it's yours but I'm going to making a sweater with that yarn when I get done with some of my projects!

Thank you!! 💕 The yarn is actually my sister's! I am not sure what she is going to make out of it yet. Ooh I can't wait to see the sweater you make it with it! Everything you make is so pretty! 😍

Come on girl, it is easy to see that ou have a desire to make something you don't have, for someone you love, and the skills to do it. Do you really need a pattern? You know that the gussets aren't even used in the picture. You can either use them or not, but I don't think you need to depend on a pattern. I really I think you're smart enough to do anything you want without a pattern and figure it out, because you have a big brain and creativity - a lot of people only have one of those working for them. I have only used patterns for sewing projects but when I wanted to recover a couch I just use the old pieces but that gave me an understanding of the pieces that go together and how They are shaped and how they fit together. You see things in your home and closet begin to analyze them by the pieces that fit together then you will be well on your way If you need permission, I, as a impatient learner and doer who it hasn't used a pattern for anything I wanted to crochet or knit ever, grant it. Fly free of patterns and light your creativity on fire!
