We couldn't find a video on how to assemble the Yardmax Power Sweeper, so we decided to make one!
It took us about an hour to assemble. The most frustrating part, as you will see in the video, is adding the extension brushes. Why it doesn't come with the extension brushes & covers already on still confuses me.
At first, we thought there must be a 24" model, and this is the kit to make it 28". But there is no narrower model that I could find. The manufacturer just makes the buyer add the brushes. And adding them is no easy task. You need about 4 hands to hold everything.
Otherwise, assembly was fairly easy. After we used it the first time, we noticed a rattle. A bolt must have been loose on the pulley housing cover. It fell out. Fortunately, I had a spare.
It started on the first pull, which was amazing! The brushes weren't making good contact with the ground, so we had to make an adjustment on the casters by moving a spacer. The instructions were clear and the adjustment just took a couple of minutes.
So far, we like it. We bought it to sweep the chicken poop off our driveway, and it does that just fine. It's self-propelled, so the Happy Wife can use it with ease. We paid a little over $800, which is affordable compared to similar models costing $2500 to $4000.

Rural King has it listed for $150 less, but they do not have it in stock. Yardmax lists it for $50 more. Other sites were $300 more, so prices are all over the map. Shop around!
