Thanks for the video. Is there a way to add an AD Security Group to a Dataverse Security Group. The UI appears to only allow adding individual users or Groups of type 365 but not type security. What am I missing here? I thought it was best practice to use security groups vs 365 groups when simply managing access to powerapp features and dataverse data. Thanks

You can create a Dataverse Group Team learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-group-teams and link it to an AAD Security group. Once the Dataverse GroupTeam is created, you can assign a security role to the Dataverse Group team. This can be done on the Power Platform Admin Center - admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ under Settings/Users + Permissions/Teams

Hello everyone, I am trying to add a team/group to a security role however, I cannot find the group in power platform. Could this be permissions related?

Do you have a system administrator security role? If so, you should be able to find the group from the environment/Settings/Teams page. Please note that you can only add a security role to Owner and Security group types.

Creating tables are done on the Power Apps portal - make.preview.powerapps.com/. You need the following security roles to create tables: Environment Maker and System Customizer. To see Users and Security, you need to have a System Administrator security role for the environment. Go to the Power Platform Admin Center - admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ and select the environment. Click on Settings and navigate to Users + Permissions tab. You will see the Users and Security role options.
