Aggie Lemons, or Aggie Lemon Racing, is an engineering-based student
organization at Texas A&M that teaches students the basics of vehicle mechanics. This group hosts a variety of workshops throughout the year where students learn how to build a car to compete in a race. The students must work together to make their vehicle competition ready, starting with only a “lemon” that costs no more than $500.
Throughout the building process, students learn valuable engineering and budgeting skills. This is an unparalleled opportunity for these students to develop marketable skills that can be applied to their future careers.
The Association of Former Students is proud to have provided support to the organization, which allowed them to compete in their first race.
